How I Use Email Automatic Responders

An email automatic responder or autoresponder is the second most important marketing tool I have to make money online. The first would be my hosting company. Without these 2 tools my internet marketing business is dead in the water.

In the world of internet marketing, millions of sites are fiercely competing with each other to gain new clients. For any ecommerce site to succeed, it must capture the interest and the trust of its visitors. It is not enough that your site is perfectly designed or has the latest in animation of content.

As more potential customers visit your site, you should expect a flood of inquiries and requests for information. This is an excellent opportunity for you to capture more clients and lead them to buying from your site. Thus, it is important that you carry out an efficient and prompt response to every email you receive. The fastest and most effective way to do this is by utilizing an email automatic responder.

Autoresponder services use a computer program that automatically return a prewritten message to anyone who sends an email to your site. It is widely used for responding to consumer inquiries and visitor comments and suggestions.

Follow up automatic responders are also used by e-zines in responding to people who subscribe or unsubscribe to their online magazines. Companies, who send out their e-newsletter regularly, also use utoresponders.

How can effective autoresponder services help boost your business? The answer lies in its ability to return a prompt response to any e-mail the site receives. By responding rapidly and efficiently, you create a very good impression on your potential customer. Good email autorespondrs help you get important information back to these customers immediately. An effective autoresponder service helps you communicate your message promptly, creating a sense of professionalism and efficiency that your clients will definitely appreciate.

Another very important advantage of email automatic responders is that it saves time with multiple marketing tasks. Certainly, you do not have enough time to personally make and send all correspondence. Autoresponder services allows you to send thank you letters, newsletters, product information, brochures, orders etc. to hundreds of clients almost immediately and simultaneously. Autoresponder services are also indispensable in any email marketing campaign.

Choosing the right autoresponder is very important. What makes the best automatic responder? First, you should pick an autoresponder that is reliable and can give you 24/7 service. You cannot afford to lose a customer because your autoresponder failed to answer his query or request for information. The ability to respond promptly is the first thing you must look for in any automatic responder.

Another key factor you should consider when choosing Autoresponder servcies is flexibility. Good autoresponders allow you to customize unique responses that will have maximum effect on the customer. You should avoid creating an impression that the customer is communicating with a machine instead of a real human being.

An excellent email automatic responder lets you provide the information that is specifically targeted for what the potential customers are looking for. Because any email from potential customers essentially represent the customer’s intent on getting more information about your product, which can ultimately lead to direct sales, all emails are important. Thus, a top Autoresponder servcie must fulfill all these duties to help you boost your business.

Meliorism (noun | MEE-lee-uh-riz-um)

meliorism

noun | MEE-lee-uh-riz-um
Did You Know?

In 1877, British novelist George Eliot believed she had coined meliorist when she wrote, “I don’t know that I ever heard anybody use the word ‘meliorist’ except myself.” Her contemporaries credited her with coining both meliorist and meliorism, and one of her letters contains an early documented use of meliorism; however, there is evidence that meliorist had been around decades before she started using it. Whoever coined it did so by drawing on the Latin melior, meaning “better.” It is likely that the English coinages were also influenced by another melior descendant, meliorate, a synonym of ameliorate (“to make better or more tolerable”) that was introduced to English in the 1500s.
Examples of MELIORISM “Meliorism is that comfortable midway point between pessimism and optimism, wherein its possessor conceives of her actions as capable of bringing about a better future.” — Will Self, Prospect, 12 July 2019 “An old truism holds that the pessimist sees the glass as half-empty while the optimist sees it as half-full. But active and engaged people don’t bother to measure the contents of their cups. They savor what they’ve got, drink it down, then go looking for a refill. One name for this approach is meliorism. Meliorists want to make things better—to ameliorate them.” — Andrew Fiala, The Fresno (California) Bee, 10 Nov. 2017

3 Bad Diet Mistakes To Avoid At All Cost

3 Bad Diet Mistakes To Avoid At All Cost

Even though there is so much information available about weight loss, the same diet mistakes are being made over and over every day. We are not talking here about little slipups where you ate a slice of pie that was not on the plan, but big mistakes that lead to failure to lose the weight that you want to lose. Understanding these errors can help you develop the attitude that will lead to permanent weight loss for you.

  1. The All Or Nothing Attitude

All or nothing dieters will often pick out a complicated diet that is almost impossible for them to maintain. Before beginning, they will search the kitchen for anything that does not fit the plan and throw it in the garbage. They are planning to be the perfect dieter, and so they will be, for one day, three days, seven days or even a couple of weeks. Then, inevitably, something happens that means they cannot keep to the diet one time. Immediately the whole thing is ruined in their eyes and the diet is over. They go to the store and buy all the things that went into the garbage last week and proceed to gain back all the weight that they lost, as fast as possible.

MLM Gateway - Helping network marketers build their business

If you are this kind of dieter you need to ask yourself some tough questions. Do you really want to lose weight permanently, or just lose a few pounds so that you can enjoy putting them back on again? The way forward is to make small changes to what you eat so that you have a slow but steady weight loss.

  1. The Attitude of Sacrifice

Another common mistake is to view your diet as a period of sacrifice. You do not allow yourself the foods that you enjoy most while you are on your way to your target weight. You may have a great diet plan and be very successful in losing weight, but what happens when you reach your goal? You have not learnt to eat ‘bad foods’ in moderation so as soon as you start, you are likely to go out of control. It is better to include a little of everything in your diet and learn to enjoy it in small quantities. Yes, even chocolate!

  1. Goal Failure

Setting achievable goals is vital in any weight loss plan. Goals should be clear, realistic and set out in writing. While you probably do have an ideal weight in your mind, unless you are only very slightly overweight it is probably too distant to be useful. A more useful goal would be to lose two pounds per week for the first five weeks and then one pound per week after that. Some weeks you will lose more and some less, some weeks you may even gain, but if you track your progress on a graph you will see that ups and downs are natural and do not stop you progressing steadily toward your major goal.

If you have been making these mistakes, do not worry. The most important point in dieting as in so many other things is to move on. Learn from your failures as well as your success and do not use a mistake as an excuse for giving up. The only way to achieve your goal permanently is to make a commitment to become a healthier person. Remember that eating normally includes eating more some days and less others. Learn to enjoy food in moderation and you have every chance of avoiding these bad diet mistakes.

Fun With Sports-Team Names (Excerpted: Merriam Webster)

Fun With Sports-Team Names

Or How a Maple Leaf Survives an Avalanche

To save this word, you’ll need to log in.Log In

Sports fans are a rabid and possessive bunch. Our attachment to our favorite teams affects how we root for them and even how we refer to them.

How Teams Get Their Names

In the early days of professional baseball, the official names of teams didn’t include nicknames (like Cubs or Orioles). You simply had organizations denoted only their home cities, known as “The New York Baseball Club,” “The Chicago Baseball Club of the American League,” and so on. The tradition of using names like the Highlanders (later the Yankees), the Phillies, or the Cardinals came from sportswriters, who bestowed the names to add a splash of color to their depictions of the team’s exploits. It was only after owners realized their marketing potential that organizations adopted their nicknames officially.

collection of sports equipment

Go, uh, team!

Standard Names

In North America, across the four major sports, the tradition has been to give teams nicknames in the form of plural count nouns. Often they are named for animals (Detroit Tigers, Chicago Bears, Atlanta Hawks), workers in an industry associated with the home city (Pittsburgh Steelers, Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, Edmonton Oilers), or figures of lore or history (Dallas Cowboys, Pittsburgh Pirates, Minnesota Vikings, Philadelphia 76ers). Other team names are simply representative objects (Denver Nuggets, San Antonio Spurs, Detroit Pistons). In all of these instances, the plurality of the name reinforces the idea of a group of players working as a team to accomplish something.

How Do You Make ‘Sox’ Singular?

They also don’t present many challenges when it comes to grammar. But some team names are unique—not to mention a bit stubborn—in this regard. Red Sox and White Sox, for example, sometimes give writers headaches because of that cutesy X at the end. The teams were originally called the Red Stockings and White Stockings, but headline writers, needing a shorter alternative, quickly turned to the phonetic spelling Sox (for Socks).

White Sox and Red Sox employ synecdoche—a linguistic expression in which one uses a part of something to stand for the whole, as when one uses suits to refer to businesspeople or crown to refer to a monarch.

In standard team names, it’s easy to form a singular from the plural: you can talk about a player’s first game as a Viking or one scoring their first goal as a Penguin. But how, then, does one refer to a singular player on the Red Sox or White Sox?

Nobody seems to agree:

Everyone remembers Thomas as a White Sock as he blasted 448 of his 521 career homers with them. But in ’08, his final season at the age of 40, he hit three dingers with the Jays over 16 games, then went to the A’s and hit five homers over 55 games.
— Bill Baer, NBC Sports, 20 Apr. 2020

Betts is the first Red Sox to win the honor since 2013, coincidentally the last time Boston won a title, when Dustin Pedroia won the award.
— Mike Cole, NESN.com, 9 Nov. 2018

(The temptation to call a singular player a Red Sock or White Sock is even more confounding when you consider that each player still wears two socks.)

And then there are questions about how to form the possessive when the team name is in the plural.

For a standard –s plural noun, the possessive apostrophe would come after the s: the Cardinals’ first draft pick, the Rangers’ new ballpark. If you think of the –x in Sox as standing in for –cks, then the apostrophe would likewise go after the x: the Red Sox’ third straight victory. But a lot of writers instinctively want to pair an s with the apostrophe anyway, leading to the occasional occurrence of Sox’s:

Brian Johnson has left the Red Sox’s alternate training site, Triple-A Pawtucket’s McCoy Stadium, to return home to Florida, according to two sources.
— MassLive.com, 10 Aug. 2020

The Minnesota NBA team is called the Timberwolves, with the second half of the name using the standard plural form of wolf. Each player on the team is theoretically a Timberwolf. Meanwhile, the NHL team in Toronto is called the Maple Leafs, naming themselves after the symbol on the Canadian flag. Each player is a Maple Leaf. The spelling of the team name follows its own grammatical logic, however, since the noun leaf, of course, is normally pluralized as leaves. So why aren’t they the Toronto Maple Leaves?

The short answer is that we tend to treat certain words with their own grammatical rule when they drift far in meaning from their component terms. (For a more in-depth explanation of this phenomenon, see our article on still life.) In other words: you aren’t pluralizing the foliage of a maple tree, you’re pluralizing hockey players.

Sports Teams with Noncount Nouns

Starting with the Utah Jazz, a team whose name made vastly more sense when they were based in their original jazz-friendly city of New Orleans, NBA expansion teams have shown a preference for noncount nouns (those not formed by simply adding –s to a singular noun): Miami Heat, Orlando Magic, Oklahoma City Thunder. The NHL has done the same: Tampa Bay Lightning, Minnesota Wild.

Avalanche is a singular noun on its own that has its own plural, avalanches, but the Colorado Avalanche gets treated as a noncount noun with Avalanche occasionally seen in the singular for a player:

It stayed 1-0 Vancouver for not even six minutes, though, when newcomer Shean Donovan scored his first goal as an Avalanche at 6:29.
— Adrian Dater, The Denver Post, 17 Aug. 2020

In 2020 the Seattle NHL expansion team announced that it would be called the Kraken. In doing so the team ventured into uncharted grammatical territory, for Kraken alludes to a singular mythical creature. Assuming that writers follow the pattern of other sports teams, each player on the ice will also be referred to as a Kraken, which just seems like a grossly unfair advantage.

The Words of the Week – 8/23/20

Some of the words that defined the week ending August 21, 2020

Welcome to The Words of the Week, in which we look over some of the good, the bad, and the semantically imprecise words that tickled your curiosity this past week. Please note that bad is used here in a vague fashion; we do not really think of any words as bad (although sometimes they are a bit unruly).

It’s almost the weekend.

‘Empathy’

Empathy saw a surge in lookups last week, after the word was prominently featured in a speech by Michelle Obama.

Former first lady Michelle Obama delivered a blistering attack on President Donald Trump in giving the keynote speech of Monday’s opening night of Democrats’ virtual national convention, saying he has governed by “chaos” while displaying an “utter lack of empathy.”
— Rick Pearson and Bill Ruthhart, Chicago Tribune, 17 Aug. 2020

Empathy is a fairly complex notion, and the length of its definition reflects this complexity: “the action of understanding, being aware of, being sensitive to, and vicariously experiencing the feelings, thoughts, and experience of another of either the past or present without having the feelings, thoughts, and experience fully communicated in an objectively explicit manner.” One of the reasons people most often look for this word in a dictionary is to find how it differs from sympathy and compassion.

Sympathy may refer to “feelings of loyalty” or “unity or harmony in action or effect,” meanings not shared by empathy. In the contexts where the two words do overlap, sympathy implies sharing (or having the capacity to share) the feelings of another, while empathy tends to be used to mean imagining, or having the capacity to imagine, feelings that one does not actually have. Compassion is a broader word than empathy: it refers to both an understanding of another’s pain and the desire to somehow mitigate that pain.

‘Snake oil’

Snake oil had a moment in the sun last week, after television host Anderson Cooper averred that the founder of a pillow company was a salesman of this variety.

Anderson Cooper calls My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell a ‘snake oil salesman’ for pushing an unproven drug
— (headline) Poynter (poynter.org), 19 Aug. 2020

We define snake oil as “any of various substances or mixtures sold (as by a traveling medicine show) as medicine usually without regard to their medical worth or properties,” and also as “poppycock.” Snake oil has been used in literal fashion as a substance said to cure various ailments since the early 17th century; the word has been used in a figurative manner since the late 19th.

The snake-oil venders paid our town a visit on Thursday and by their oily ways snaked a good many 50 cent pieces away with them.
— Santa Maria Times (Santa Maria, CA), 1 Nov. 1884

‘Unwritten’

In sporting news unwritten spiked in lookups, after a baseball player hit a home run on a 3-0 count, and in doing so apparently broke one of the unwritten rules of baseball.

Earlier this week, Fernando Tatis Jr. of the San Diego Padres hit a grand slam, a seemingly exciting moment for player, fans and teammates. But because he had done it when his team was leading by seven runs, the blast earned him a postgame rebuke from his manager. Tatis, you see, had broken one of baseball’s unwritten rules.
—Victor Mather, The New York Times, 20 Aug. 2020

Unwritten has a few meanings, most of which are, unsurprisingly, concerned with writing, or the lack of such. However, the word also carries the meaning of “traditional.” An unwritten law, for instance, is defined as “law based chiefly on custom rather than legislative enactments.”

‘Suffrage’

This past week also saw the centennial of the 19th Amendment (the one letting women vote), an event that focused attention on words such as suffrage. The relevant sense of this word is defined as “the right of voting; also, the exercise of such right” (although suffrage has additional, earlier meanings, including “a short intercessory prayer usually in a series”).

There are a number of words concerned with people who advocate, or support, the cause of suffrage. The word for a woman who advocates suffrage for women is suffragette, which appears to have originated in Britain in 1906.

The error, as well as that in Eccles, where 1,500 women were classed in the division as Parliamentary voters, instead of that permitting them the exercise of the franchise for local purposes, was appropriate in a region marked by the activity of the “Suffragettes.”
— The Observer (London, Eng.), 14 Jan. 1906

They have nicknamed woman suffragists, of the female class, suffragettes in England. It isn’t a bad distinction. It distinguishes between the men and women who favor the cause.
— The Boston Herald, 16 Jan. 1906

Prior to this the words suffragist and suffragite were in use, although they did not always refer to supporters of women’s right to vote. Universal suffrage is now defined as “the right of all adult citizens to vote in an election,” but when the term came into use, in the late 16th century, it typically referred to the voting rights of all men of a nation.

But what errour were it for me (saith he) to omit thee M. Tullie, or what excellent praise shall I giue thee? but euen that which hath bin bestowed on thee, by the common voice, and vniuersall suffrage of all the people of this nation: in taking out of all thy life the works onely of thy Consulship?
— Louis Leroy, Of the interchangeable course, or variety of things,1594

Our Antedating of the Week: ‘conspicuous consumption’

Our antedating of the week is conspicuous consumption, defined as “lavish or wasteful spending thought to enhance social prestige.” The word has long been associated with economist Thorstein Veblen’s 1899 work The Theory of the Leisure Class, and thought to have first appeared in this book. However, Veblen used conspicuous consumption five years earlier, in an article titled The Economic Theory of Woman’s Dress.

The child in the hands of civilized woman is an accessory organ of conspicuous consumption, much as any tool in the hands of a laborer is an accessory organ of productive efficiency.
— Thorstein Veblen, The Popular Science Monthly (New York, NY), 1 Dec. 1894

‘Appraise’ or ‘Apprise’

(Excerpted from Merriam Webster

You can’t put a price on good advice

What to Know

Appraise is a verb meaning “to set value on” while the similar looking apprise means “to tell.” While their meanings are distinct, both are common words with French origin and so confusing them is not uncommon. Apprize is a rarer word that historically can mean either “appraise” or “apprise.”

gem appraiser photo

We’ll apprise you of our appraisal of this issue.

There are thousands of pairs of commonly confused words in English, a mass of confusion which presents a daunting figure until it becomes clear that most of them are easily distinguished, if one applies a small degree of attention. Some are spelled with slight variations in British and North American English (such as realise & realize) but have no difference in meaning. Others, such as principle and principal, might necessitate a trip to a dictionary for many of us, but are easy to clear up once we’re there. One such pair that we’re often warned about is appraise and apprise.

The Meanings of ‘Appraise’ and ‘Apprise’

Both words are verbs, both have been in common use for hundreds of years, and both have French roots (appraise is from the Anglo-French preiser, “to prize, praise,” and apprise from the Old French aprendre, “to teach”). When these similarities are combined with the fact that the words are spelled in nearly identical fashion it is easy to see how they might be mixed up. The meaning of each is fairly distinct from the other; apprise means “to tell,” and appraise means “to set a value on.”

They had for a long time been apprised of his secret visits, and suspicious of his designs; but the purity and gentleness of Mary’s manners rebuked suspicion, and they hesitated to communicate their observations to her.
— Catharine Maria Sedgwick, Redwood, 1824

Yet, while the little scarred cheek was resting on her ermine in such apparent bliss, there mingled in with the thread of her instructions to the children a determination next day to appraise cheap furs, and see if she could not bless the little one with a cape of her very own.
— Harriet Beecher Stowe, We and our Neighbors, 1875

What About ‘Apprize’?

So there you have it: apprise means “tell” and appraise means “estimate.” Case closed, and now we can leave this topic, and go back to worrying about whether we’ve used inflammable correctly. Except….what about apprize? This is a somewhat obscure word that sometimes functions as a synonym of appraise, and sometimes as a spelling variant of apprise.

Therefore legacies were paid in stocks at apprized values.
—J. H Sawyer, A History of Williston Seminary, 1917

“Poor Arthur cannot, of course, be apprized of that.”
—Catharine Grace Frances Gore, Mrs. Armytage; or, Female Domination, 1836

(This sort of thing is informally referred to as a switcheroo; scholars prefer more technical language, and tend to rely on descriptors such as Well, Yeah … EnglishI Don’t Know The Answer To That, and Isn’t It Time For Lunch?)

The sudden appearance of apprize should not serve to confuse the matter of distinguishing between appraise and apprise. For one thing, it is not often used, and so you are unlikely to often encounter it in the wild. And should you decide to use apprize yourself you may take comfort in the fact that it could legitimately mean either appraise or apprise, so you will be correct no matter what.

Have a Plan (A Realistic Plan)

Goals are vital, as Rule #10 makes clear, but you must also have a plan to achieve your goals, and it must be realistic.

Have a plan

Start with this: Though SFI is truly one of the few businesses where you can earn while you learn, think of your first 6-12 months primarily as a training period. Build this into your plan. In this era of “instant everything,” I know that’s a tough for a lot of people to deal with, but big incomes simply do not happen overnight. It’s just not reality. If it was, everybody would be rich.

Instead, plan to work the hardest your first 6-12 months or so and get compensated the least. Don’t expect large earnings until after you’ve educated yourself and given yourself time to put your plan fully into operation.

Set Goals…and Publish Them!

A valid plan for success must include not just goals, but published goals too. Use this section of our Affiliate Profile to set yours and review your goals often at your SFI Homepage (see “My Goals” section). Once you’ve set your goals, print out the page and keep it on the wall near where you work on your SFI business. i.e. Publish them!

Set goals...and publish them

This may seem silly to you, but psychologically it can be a game-changer. No one knows why exactly, but publishing your goals seems to launch activity in your powerful subconscious mind that seems to literally “pull” you towards the achievement of your goals!

Studies on goal-setting have revealed truly amazing statistics. For example, a study of college students who used goal-setting in college found they eventually landed in the top percentile of all earners!

Setting goals is so easy to do, yet 95% of people never set goals. They just never take the time. And who do you think are the most successful, highest-earning people in the world? The 5% group of course! If you want to be in the 5% group, don’t even think about ignoring goal-setting!

Open Your Eyes to Your Potential

You may not realize it right now, but inside you you have the potential to become very, very successful. Successful beyond your wildest dreams. So why aren’t you? By and large, it’s because our schools, governments, teachers, professors, and clergy don’t teach you this!

Open your eyes to your potentialOn the contrary in fact, you’ve been programmed your whole life to accept mediocrity, to believe that conforming and compromising is the way you go through life and that real success is unachievable except for the “privileged.” Of course, people that have become highly successful have learned this is not true at all and they have broken out of these artificial constraints…and so should you!

For me, it was reading the classic book “Think And Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill at the age of 22 that opened my eyes. I was also greatly impacted by “The Magic Of Thinking Big” by David Schwartz. I still highly recommend these books to anyone who wants to do great things in their life.

I also recommend one of the world’s most famous success experts and authors, Jack Zufelt, as someone you’ll want to familiarize yourself with.

Like Napoleon Hill and David Schwartz , Jack opens your eyes to your true potential. Indeed, what Jack teaches is so powerful he has been interviewed on over 2,000 radio and TV talk shows. PBS aired a special about him that was broadcast via satellite to 127 countries. The United States Senate honored him for teaching Americans how to achieve more success in their personal lives and careers. He was even awarded the Presidential Medal of Merit by the President of the United States!

Jack’s books and CDs can literally change your life and I highly recommend them to all our affiliates! Check out all of Jack’s products at: https://www.dnamastercourse.com/

Leaders are Readers

It’s ABSURD to think you can succeed in SFI if you’re not visiting the SFI Affiliate Center at least once a day and reading the latest information and updates. EVERY DAY, at the very least, you should be checking all of the tabs on your SFI homepage (Alerts, Tips, To-Do List, Stream, Scoreboard, Movers, etc.). You should also be reading the latests posts on the SFI Forum. If you’re not reading all or most of these things, you are clearly NOT serious about SFI and you will therefore not succeed.

Tip: I post multiple times at the SFI Forum almost every day, including weekends. By reading my posts, you’ll gain a LOT of insights into the direction of the company. You can easily follow all my postings by clicking the “Follow” icon behind my name and then using the Follow monitoring feature of the Forum.

But don’t stop with the SFI Affiliate Center. Go out on the Web every day and subscribe to marketing newsletters, read business blogs, etc. There’s an absolute wealth of information out there, much of it now 100% free thanks to the Internet. And, of course, there are books galore that will allow you to run circles around the non-readers of the world.

Everything you need for your better future and success has already been written. Go out and get it…and read it. It’s one of the easiest ways to climb the ladder of success.

YOU Make it Happen, No One Else

Not only is this a key rule in SFI, but I consider this to be amongst THE most important lessons in life. NO ONE ELSE can make you successful. It’s all up to you. YOU are the “master of your destiny” and responsible for your own success. Period.

Conversely, there’s not anyone or anything that will make you a failure. It does no good to blame the economy, your education, or whatever bad breaks you’ve had in your life. Doing so means taking on a victim’s mentality. DON’T EVER DO THIS. I can guarantee you that many thousands of people have succeeded despite having it much worse, so don’t make excuses and don’t convince yourself that you’re somehow a victim.

And the grass isn’t any greener on the other side either. You have now (or can acquire) everything you need to be successful. Just remember that it’s up to you and nobody else. Then go out and do it.

You Make It Happen

Now, for those who might be thinking, “well, that’s easy for you to say, Gery!”…the fact is, I’ve achieved what most people would say is extraordinary success, but it was not handed to me, not by any stretch. I come from a very small Nebraska town and very humble beginnings. When I started in business I had no business education, no experience, and no money to invest. And it took four long years (the first two moonlighting into the wee hours of the night while holding down a full-time job), before I ever saw a profit. I had no mentors, no great upline leaders or sponsors to guide me, nor any wealthy relatives to come to my aid. But I decided I was going to become successful and I did. And I’ve put in the work every day for over 30 years now to stay successful.

So…it’s not your sponsor. It’s not your upline. It’s not the economy. It’s not the government. It’s not the compensation plan. It’s not any of these things or any other obstacles perceived to be in your way. If you want to become successful, you can go around the obstacles, go over, go under, or go right through them. Success is yours if you want it, but ONLY YOU control this. Always remember: “If it’s to be, it’s up to me.”

YOU Succeed Only if THEY Succeed

You know what the number one complaint we receive is? It’s affiliates telling us that their sponsor/upline doesn’t support them, never answers their emails, never communicates with them, etc.

Think about this. Do YOU want to make money for someone who demonstrates no support or assistance? Of course not. It’s the same thing with the affiliates you sponsor. If they feel you do not care about them, they will not want to build their SFI businesses because they will not want to see their hard work benefiting some stranger they never hear from. Surely you don’t want your affiliates feeling this way!

Treat TC as your store

If you’re sponsoring affiliates and then leaving them to fend for themselves, just quit right now because you’re guaranteeing failure for yourself. Every affiliate you sponsor is a potential goldmine for you. You MUST understand that only if THEY succeed, do YOU succeed. I can’t stress enough the importance of understanding this rule!

And, yes, it’s true you can’t MAKE the affiliates in your downline successful (they have to want that for themselves), but let it never be said that you weren’t there for your affiliates!

Start by opening up good lines of communication with all your affiliates. This is how you can teach your affiliates how to succeed in SFI and how you build relationships with your affiliates (very important!).

First, set up a greeting for your affiliates HERE. Once you’ve set this up, all of your new affiliates, upon logging in at the SFI Affiliate Center for the first time, will see an alert that you’ve left them a message. By clicking on this alert, they’ll then be able to read your message. This is an easy, automatic way to get off to a great start in building relationships with your affiliates.

Next, you’ll want to develop some form of regular outgoing communications to stay in touch, share ideas, and provide training. We recommend a weekly (or every-other-week) e-mail using the PSA Mailer. Just enter your message and hit submit to automatically send a message to all of your PSAs (personally sponsored affiliates).

Now, you may be new to SFI and/or business in general. You may feel you have nothing you can teach your affiliates. That’s OK, you can learn and grow into the leader role over time. And, after all, all the training your affiliates really need is at the SFI Affiliate Center. But what you must never do is allow your affiliates to think their sponsor (you) is uncaring. If you do that, if you do not communicate with your affiliates, success will be a hundred times harder to attain.

Work With the Workers

Way too many people focus on QUANTITY. They sponsor dozens, even hundreds of affiliates–which is great–but it is ultimately QUALITY that is the real key. Once you’ve found or developed 3-5 topnotch affiliates, you’re going to see a lot of great things happen with your commission check.

How do you develop quality affiliates? It’s real simple: WORK WITH THE WORKERS!

When you see people who are working SFI in your group, work with them! Tip: You can easily locate these people by checking your “Movers” list on your SFI homepage daily. Support them closely, and train them to do the things you do so that you are creating duplication and maximum leverage.

Work with the WorkersIt’s of course more natural for us to let the workers in our group just do their own thing. After all, they got active without you even telling them to, they’re already sponsoring new affiliates, referring members, etc. They don’t need your help or support–or so you think.

Meanwhile, you’re spending all your time trying to get the people who obviously don’t “get it” to do something. As the old saying goes, you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink—yet you continue to try.

You need to know that this is exactly the opposite of what you should be doing to build a successful business. I’m not saying you shouldn’t follow up with those who don’t immediately get active with SFI. You should. But don’t spend ALL or even the majority of your time with this. And DEFINITELY DO NOT IGNORE your workers!

Indeed, the way you create those 3-5 “top-gun” affiliates that you need is by treating them LIKE YOUR FUTURE DEPENDS ON THEM!

If you’re not in touch with your best, hardest-working affiliates at least every week (email, phone calls, chatroom, or whatever), I’m sorry, but you’re trying to win a race with a car that only has one wheel!

How many affiliates will you have to go through to find your top guns? That’s of course difficult to say. What I can tell you though is that they’re out there (or are ALREADY in your group), and you’ll develop them so long as you deny your natural instincts and apply the proper focus (work with the workers!).

Just like in a deck of playing cards, you KNOW there are four aces. If you start working your way through the deck, the first ace may not come up for a while, but eventually it will so long as you keep going through the deck. And if you don’t quit, you’ll eventually locate FOUR aces. It’s the very same principle with SFI; the aces are there.

Keep sponsoring affiliates, work with your workers, and success will happen.

Tip: Don’t waste time on skeptics or pessimists. They will NOT succeed in SFI or any other similar endeavor. They do not possess the qualities of a winner (this includes “rocking-chair advisors” who talk and talk, seem to know all the answers, but never act).

“Eagles don’t flock–you have to find them one at a time.”

Lead By Example

Lead By ExampleIf you want your affiliates sponsoring affiliatesreferring members, etc., then make sure YOU are doing these things. Do these things and become proficient in these things so you can show and teach your affiliates the best ways to do them.

In the key area of duplication, your affiliates are definitely watching! Show them what it means to be a strong, active sponsor and THEY will become strong, active sponsors and help you further your growth and profits.

Leading by example works in the negative, too, of course. Want a downline of affiliates who do nothing? Then do nothing and that’s what you’ll likely get!

So…the rule is real simple: Whatever you want THEM to do, YOU do, because they are following your lead!

Tip: Becoming a TripleClicks Booster Club member is a great way to lead by example. A prestigious “Booster Club Member” badge will reflect this status. Your PSAs and CSAs will see this badge on your Leadership Page and your Affiliate Snapshot. Make sure you are sending everyone in your group the right message!

DO Something to Grow Your Business Every Day

You will not create a successful business by thinking about it. You will create a successful business ONLY by DOING…by TAKING ACTION every day. Every day, no matter what, make sure you’re doing SOMETHING to further your business. If you’re not, you’re not even in the game, you’re kidding yourself. No business becomes successful without daily focus and action.

Woman on phoneWhat can you do daily? Here are just a few ideas:

Tip: Don’t forget to use the SFI Power Tools we’ve made available to you. Put the power of key codes, hit tracking, setting up your own co-op, the PSA Mailer, the CSA Mailer, reassignments, and more to work for your business. To not use these best-of-the-best tools is to operate your SFI business with two arms tied behind your back!

Matching VP (Matching Profit Sharing)

Matching VP (Matching Profit Sharing)

TERMS TO KNOW:

Executive Pool
VersaPoints (VP)
Team Leader (TL)
Matching VP
Executive Affiliates (EA)
Downline
CSAs
Leveraged Income
Member
Sponsor
Badges
Leadership Page

As you learned in our this lesson, you receive shares in the Executive Pool based on the VersaPoints you earn each month* (see your TO DO list for a complete list of available actions that earn you VP).

You also learned that you can earn even more shares based on the VP your downline affiliates earn*  But how does that work exactly? Simple. By advancing to Team Leader and learning to lead and grow a TEAM of active SFI affiliates, you’ll switch on one of the most lucrative components of the Executive Pool section of the SFI compensation plan. We call it MATCHING VP. Very simply, you can earn matching VP (and, therefore, more shares in the Executive Pool) on points earned by your referred Executive Affiliates and every EA they refer to SFI too, up to 12 levels in your downline!  And for every 500 VP your EAs earn in total, YOU can earn 500 more shares in the pool!

Here’s a breakdown of how it works by SFI rank:

Matching VP Example: You are a Silver Team Leader.  The EAs in your first 4 generations and your CSAs account for a total of 57,500 VP this month, so YOU earn a matching 57,500 shares of the Executive Pool!

* Details apply. Learn more.

The Key

The most important thing to understand about Matching VP is that it is the powerful LEVERAGED INCOME component of our compensation plan, one of the two most important elements for building wealth, as explained in this LaunchPad lesson.  So, as a Team Leader, one of the things you’ll most want to do is help all of your members score lots of VP every month…because for every 500 VP they score, YOU will earn another 500 shares of the Executive Pool!  The higher they go, the higher YOU go!

But it goes much farther.  That is, not only can you earn matching profit shares each month on every affiliate you sponsor but you can also earn matching profit shares on every affiliate THEY sponsor…and that THEY sponsor…and so on…down a full 12 total generations on your team. Indeed, many of our affiliates earn thousands of matching shares, some hundreds of thousands of matching shares, each month on the activities of hundreds of affiliates within their 12-generation team!

How to grow your Matching Shares

Whenever you refer someone to SFI, you become their “Sponsor.”  As their sponsor, help them get started.  Teach them, encourage them, and cheer them on! Soon they will be scoring VersaPoints and sponsoring their own affiliates and adding generations of even more affiliates to your team!  As this “duplication” continues month after month, your earnings can grow exponentially as you begin earning thousands of additional profit shares.

TIP: A good way to get your team members to score a lot of VP is to “lead by example” and score a lot of VP yourself.  How will they know you’re racking up copious amounts of VP?  Your badges on your Leadership Page, your position on the VP Leaderboard, etc. tell the story.

Borderless is Beautiful

Did you know that by the end of 2019, the worldwide number of Internet users had grown to more than 4.39 BILLION people—well over 50% of ALL the people on the planet?!  Did you also know e-commerce sales are expected to top $2.29 TRILLION (USD)–10.1% of total retail sales–when figures are finalized for 2017 and is expected to continue to grow to $4.479 trillion (USD) 2021?  With statistics like that, the future of commerce no doubt belongs online! making up.

And while the U.S. leads the pack as of 2019 for the percentage of its population online (95%), that number still constitutes only 7.6% (down from 10% in 2016) of Web surfers worldwide.

The major growth over the past few years has been occurring in populous regions with burgeoning economies. For example, the Asian continent ranks first worldwide by FAR for the number of Internet users—2.3 BILLION and growing! Then there’s Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America that since 2000 have witnessed what can only be described as a phenomenal increase of online users: a cumulative, 20-year 11,000+%, 5,000%, and 2,400+% growth rate, respectively!

Why is all this important?  Because in joining SFI, you’ve just joined the most global-minded business there is.  Put another way, you’re now positioned to profit from the largest market EVER.  EVER!

Built to go wherever the internet is…

The fact is, our Zing Network was built, from the ground up, to go everywhere and anywhere the Internet goes.  And “borderless” is beautiful.

Lots of businesses allow you to market in your own country and perhaps a few others countries, but only our Zing Network, with its SFI Affiliate Program, puts you in over 200 countries and gives you instant access to a marketplace of BILLIONS of consumers.

But the SFI Affiliate program gives you much more than just access.  Unlike a few companies that have tried to copy us, SFI is actually working and generating income for people all over the world.

Check out our daily Global Growth Report.  Look at today’s enrollments and where they come from.  Every day, hundreds of people from countries scattered across the globe become Zing members!

Now look at the Top Sponsors/Referrer’s list (located in the top right corner of the Global Growth Report).  SFI Affiliates from countries all over world dominate this top 10 list every day.

In huge populous countries like India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and China, SFI is exploding with growth!  And yet we’ve only begun to scratch the surface!  And what a MASSIVE opportunity this is for you.

Think about the spectacular economic growth occurring in Asian and African countries right now.  Imagine sponsoring just a handful of strong, motivated individuals in these countries and how many THOUSANDS of affiliates and members they could bring in with your help, and how many thousands of dollars in monthly commissions could someday be yours!

It’s a fact.  When you go SFI, your opportunity is literally as big as the world.

How Much Money Can I Make?

“How much can I make?”  This is a common question when someone joins SFI, and a fair question as well.  After all, you wouldn’t take a job without first finding out how much you’d be paid, right?

So how much CAN you make as an SFI affiliate?

According to Entrepreneur magazine, the average home-based business household earns $50,250 a year. And about 20% of all home-business households earn in excess of $75,000 a year.  And in some countries (such as the United States) there are the tax benefits, too; even if your home business isn’t generating a profit yet, it can put $5,000 or more into your pocket through tax write-offs (check with your accountant).

Speaking of entrepreneurs, this is an area where you truly must think like an entrepreneur and not like an employee.

In short, you’ll get out of SFI what you put into it. It works…if you do. But that’s the beauty of it, too; you are in control–it’s up to you how far you take it. And don’t forget, SFI offers the opportunity to earn residual income: income you can earn for years to come based on the work you do today.  Virtually all wealthy individuals have the power of residual income working for them.  So should YOU.  Learn more about Residual Income (and Leveraged Income) in this lesson.

Double that penny!

Do you know what happens when you double a penny (one cent) every day for a month? At the 15-day mark, it’s grown to only $163.84. But by the 30th day, it’s mushroomed to OVER 5 MILLION dollars!

As we’ve discussed in this lesson, this “leveraging” or duplication effect is one of the most exciting ingredients of SFI. Indeed, its power cannot be underestimated.

Imagine that you’ve just sponsored an SFI affiliate in the United States by the name of John. John sponsors a friend in Brazil by the name of Maria. Maria soon sponsors Gustava from Sweden. Through Gustava’s efforts, a Korean, Hae-Won, joins SFI.

By just sponsoring one person, you’ve set into motion a chain of events that now has affiliates working indirectly on your behalf across the globe! And every person (John, Maria, Gustava, and Hae-Won) can add to your commission check!

This is just one very small example of duplication and global networking in action. And it’s happening every hour of every day at SFI.  Study our Global Growth Report and you’ll see exactly this.

So…do you think you could find one good person each month to join SFI? Just one person a month who might be interested in financial freedom, more leisure time, more security, and more happiness?  Do you think you can teach that one person a month to do what you do? If you can, you can become wildly successful in SFI!

TIP: For specific earnings examples, check out our Income Calculator HERE.

TIP: Did you know that studies show that the average 21-year old already knows over 800 people? Check our “Who do you know?” list for ideas for people to introduce SFI to.

Getting off the Anti-Wealth Plan

Though painful to say, most people go through their entire lives on what we call the “Anti-Wealth” Plan. Others call it the “40/40/40 Plan.” That is, work 40 hours a week for someone for 40 years and retire with $40 in the bank!

That’s somewhat of an exaggeration, of course, but the U.S. Social Security Board, for example, has reported that 85 out of 100 Americans won’t possess as much as $500 in savings by age 65. And only 2% will be self-sustaining; the rest will be dependent on family, church, or the government!

The main problem with a typical job is that when YOU stop, the money stops.

MAKE SURE you understand this: If you ever want to acquire real wealth, you’re just not going to get there trading hours for money. The world’s wealthiest people have known for hundreds of years that if you want financial freedom, you MUST tap into at least one of the following:

1. Residual Income

RESIDUAL INCOMEis income that keeps coming in month after month, year after year, from work you do just ONCE. It’s like a royalty. An example would be writing a book or recording a song and getting paid forever on it. Wouldn’t it be absolutely awesome to have that?!  Well, with SFI you can!

2. Leveraged Income

LEVERAGED INCOMEis earning money through other people’s efforts. There are only 24 hours in a day. Hence, there’s only so much you can earn through your own efforts.  But with SFI, you can earn Leveraged Income (in the form of Executive Pool shares) on the activity of your personally sponsored affiliates (PSAs).

Earn even more Leveraged Income when they sponsor other affiliates, and when your affiliates’ affiliates sponsor affiliates…and so on…on up to 12 generations!

The fact is, by simply sponsoring a few good, active SFI affiliates, you can eventually have hundreds or even THOUSANDS of affiliates and members putting money in your pocket…from around the world…around the clock!

But that’s not even the best part.  Each affiliate on your team has his or her own vested interest to build and KEEP ON building his or her business and income.  This, of course, means YOUR income can continue and grow month after month–even when you want to take a vacation or decide to retire altogether.

Yes, there are few things greater than returning home from a nice vacation to find that your commissions for the month increased from the month before!

Bottom line: With SFI, not only can you earn “do-it-once, get-paid-forever” residual-style income, you also can earn Leveraged Income on the activity of other affiliates!  If building financial security is one of your goals, you’ve found the vehicle to do it with in SFI.

Plus, you’ll earn those pool shares not just once, but for every sale your PSAs make, month after month, year after year…for lifeHello, Residual Income!!

Imagine having dozens or hundreds of people generating sales every month—with YOU earning a portion of every single sale. THAT is the power of sponsoring other affiliates in SFI!

In the lessons that follow, we’ll show you just how easy it is to get started sponsoring your own Personally Sponsored Affiliates.

If one of them decides to register for free and play a game, YOU gain a new Personally Referred Member (PRM). Other ways to share the fun…

Aside from your EZ Gateways listed above, there are TWO other methods to introduce people to Eager Zebra games and build your member list:

1. Challenge a friend! This is one of the easiest, most fun and personal ways to create new PRMs. When you play an Eager Zebra game and put up a good score, you’ll earn a special Friend Challenge link which you can then post on social media, or use for texting or in emails.  When your friends click your link to accept your challenge, they’ll see a specially customized page featuring your name and that challenges them to try to beat your score.  And remember, when they sign up to play the game you’ve challenged them on, they become your PRMs; and any purchases they make–like TCredits used to play Eager Zebra games–earn YOU commissions!

3. Start an Uber-Picks league! With our awesome league play, you can invite friends, family, and co-workers to compete in your own private league…and you get to be the CEO!  All of your league’s members can play FREE every week and we provide a free league leaderboard, live chat board, badges, and more.

Get the complete details on Eager Zebra Uber-Picks Sports leagues at this support article HERE and non-sports leagues at this support article.  TIP: Click HERE for a sample league invitation letter you can use to promote your Uber-Picks sports leagues.

2. Pay-Per-Action Bounties

Of course, you’re free to remain a basic affiliate if you wish. However, by scoring just 1,500 VersaPoints (VP)—1,000 of which must come from sales/personal purchases, you can advance to the “executive  level” of SFI!  As an Executive Affiliate (EA), you gain access to some of SFI’s most powerful business-building tools and perks. Entrepreneur365 (E365) is a fun and exciting SFI contest that gives you great goals to shoot for during your first year in SFI.

The objective: Score the most VersaPoints (VP) in your class during this 365-day period.

While you’re competing in E365, you’ll also have the opportunity to win thousands of Rewardical Tokens!

How it works

In the E365 contest, you compete for the most accumulated VersaPoints with every other SFI affiliate who joined SFI the same day you did. The idea is to outlast them all and, on your 365th day in SFI, be named the champion of your class—an Entrepreneur365 Champion!

As an E365 Champion, you’ll receive:

  • Special corporate recognition
  • Income-boosting Co-Sponsored Affiliates (CSAs) every month
  • A spot on the E365 “Hall of Fame” Website and bragging rights for your class
  • A handsome plaque for your office wall to commemorate your achievement

For each of your days as an E365 contestant (“Challenger”), you’ll ALSO have the opportunity to win Rewardicals in our E365 Daily Drawing. Drawings are daily random drawings for all qualified contestants from your class (and all other classes still within their first 365 days in SFI).

E365 also features a MONTHLY contest with even more recognition and Rewardicals. That is, during each month of the year-long contest, you can earn special recognition as the monthly VersaPoints champion for your class by having the most VP for the month.  A total of 1000 Rewardicals are also awarded for being the monthly VP champ.

How to enter

There are no purchase requirements to participate in the E365 contest. Just complete the following six actions within your first 365 days in SFI to automatically enter the contest:

1. Verify your email address (earn 150 VP)
2. Whitelist the email addresses of SFI and upline members  (earn 100 VP)
3. Complete your Affiliate Profile Basics  (earn 75 VP)
4. Upload your account photo  (earn 35 VP)
5. Send your commitment letter to your sponsor  (earn 50 VP)
6. Attain the rank of EA (Executive Affiliate)

TIP: Step 6 requires advancing to the rank of EA with 1500 VP.  Note that if you’re in your first month and do not collect 1500 VP by the end of the month, you can transfer all of your VP to the subsequent month.

TERMS TO KNOW:

Action Tabs
VersaPoints (VP)

You will not create a successful business by thinking about it. You will create a successful business ONLY by DOING…by TAKING ACTION every day. As the great Alexander Graham Bell said, “The only difference between success and failure is the ability to take action.”

At SFI, the Affiliate Center is one of the main places where you’ll be taking action and working on your business.  Indeed, it’s “central to your success.”

At the Affiliate Center, you have access to our valuable, personalized, step-by-step assistance; the latest news; timely tips; and training to build your new business, plus important alerts, notifications, and messages from SFI corporate and upline leaders.  Drink them all in…at least once a day!

TIP: One of the best ways to making sure you’re not missing anything is by reviewing  the 15 “Action Tabs” on your SFI homepage each day.  Doing so will also allow you to earn up to 12 valuable VersaPoints daily.

The Affiliate Center is also where you’ll find your individual account information, business reports, GlossaryCompensation PlanFAQs, and literally hundreds of marketing aids, tools, and resources to power your business…and much more!

Because of all this, we STRONGLY recommend you bookmark www.sfimg.com now.  BETTER YET, here’s how to set the SFI Affiliate Center as your Web browser’s homepage to really make it easy to visit daily.

And here’s a little “homework assignment” for you:

When you have some time, go through each of the items on the main menu bar (see image below).  Click  the “Income,”  the “Training” and “Reference” links, and all the others, too.  EACH of these links will take you to an index of many, many valuable and useful tools, aids, and resources.  Familiarize yourself with these items so you know where they’re available when you need them.

Raise Your Hand!

One of the most important things you can do when you’re getting started in SFI is to reach out to your Sponsor, Co-Sponsor, and other upline Team Leaders.

Why?

1. It’s the courteous thing to do.  You’ve just joined a team.  You should introduce yourself to the people you’re going to be working with in SFI.

2. Most SFI Sponsors, Co-Sponsors and Team Leaders LOVE to hear from their new team members. And the fact is, many are quite busy working with other members of their team, so if you do NOT reach out to them, you may lose out big.  That is, leaders of your team are looking for people to “raise their hand,” to let them know they’re here to work, here to build a business.  By identifying yourself, you may avail yourself to highly valuable perks and assistance.  You may find yourself being mentored by one of SFI’s top earners.  But you’ll never know if you don’t raise your hand…so raise it…today!

And we’ve made it super easy…

So that you can quickly and easily take care of this important task, all you have to do is go HERE, and complete our brief SFI Commitment form.  Click “Send” and your Sponsor, Co-Sponsor (if assigned), and other upline Team Leaders will immediately receive a notification that you’re in and “ready to go.”  As an added bonus, you’ll also instantly be awarded 50 VersaPoints!

TIP: The form contains an area for you to personalize your message.  It’s optional, but you may want to tell them a little about yourself, your goals, or anything else that you think they may find helpful for helping you.

Note: In the future, whenever you need to contact members of your upline…there’s a link to do so located in the footer of every page at the Affiliate Center.  Or, you can directly contact your sponsor HERE or your Co-Sponsor and upline Team Leaders HERE.

One more thing…

If you’re someone who likes to get started fast, you’ll want to consider ordering an SFI LaunchPack

Making Money With SFI

Making money with SFI

TERMS TO KNOW:

Direct Commission
PRM
Commission Volume (CV)
PSA
Executive Affiliate (EA)
Gateway
Executive Pool
Zing Network
VersaPoints
Downline

Following are the two basic ways you’ll be making money with SFI:

1. Direct Commissions

The process for earning Direct Commissions is simple:

A. Every time one of your personally referred members (PRM) purchases a product at one of our sites (TripleClicks.com, for example), you earn 50% of what we call the “Commission Volume” or CV for that product!

B. Every time one of your personally sponsored affiliates (PSA)* purchases a product at one of our sites, you earn 50% CV for that product (25% if you’re not an Executive Affiliate).
Earnings Example: An order is placed by one of your PRMs that has $28 CV. You earn a $14 Direct Commission (50% of $28).

Now, what’s CV, you ask? It’s simply the maximum amount of commissions paid out on a given product/service. Every product for sale on TripleClicks.com has a CV amount attached. You can view each product’s CV information by logging into TripleClicks.com and clicking the SFI Toolbox tab in that item’s details page, as shown below:

And once you sign up a member or affiliate, they become your customer for life!* SFI takes care of all order processing, product shipments, and customer service at no cost to you, and pays you a 50% direct commission on every order placed by your members and affiliates for life*.

What’s more, SFI makes generating sales as easy as possible. One simple method you can use right now is to simply start referring your friends, associates, and family to TripleClicks using your TripleClicks Gateway link:

https://www.tripleclicks.com/20898082/

We will be covering other sales methods and information in the LaunchPad lessons just ahead. Note that many of the methods are 100% FREE, can be done entirely on the Internet (no face-to-face selling), and can be put into action within minutes!

*You can continue to earn commissions so long as you remain an active SFI affiliate.

2. Executive Pool

SFI’s Executive Pool provides a simple, easy, and lucrative income stream that ALL SFI affiliates can tap into. At the end of every month we determine the total CV (Commission Volume) for all sales at all our Zing Network properties, and we put 50% of the CV of EVERY purchase–companywide–into the Executive Pool for our affiliates to share in!PLUS…we put in an additional 25% of the CV for every purchase made by PSAs with non-EA sponsors.

There are TWO ways you can earn shares in the pool:

1. Earn shares based on the VersaPoints you earn each month*.

2. Earn shares based on VersaPoints your downline affiliates earn*.

* Details apply. Learn more.

Okay, so those are the two BASIC ways to earn in SFI:

However, you’ll be pleased to know that there are even more ways to earn as an SFI affiliate, and we’ll cover these in upcoming LaunchPad lessons! IMPORTANT: You must have a valid postal address and working email address on record prior to being paid. You can update your address and email at your My Account page.

Before we close out this first lesson, here are a few other key “getting started” resources to review at your convenience:

And for more FAQs and other HELP….visit our Affiliate Support Desk HERE.

Every Successful Program has a Core Component

Every successful program has a core component.  In SFI, the core is the 15 “daily action tabs” on your Affiliate Center homepage.

Each of the 15 tabs provide vital knowledge and information–customized just for you.  Day by day, these 15 tabs will teach and guide you how to become a highly successful SFI affiliate.  But it’s absolutely essential that you thoroughly read, digest, and, most importantly, consistently APPLY the information to your business.  We cannot stress this enough!  Just scanning the information will get you nowhere.  If you want to build a profitable SFI business, you MUST use and apply the knowledge you’re receiving.

Valuable bonuses too!

As you go through the your action tabs each day, you’ll also be picking up valuable benefits!  For 12 of the action tabs you examine, you can earn 1 VersaPoint each day. We’ll go into more details in later lessons about VersaPoints…but for now just know that VPs help determine your rank in SFI and associated bonuses.  You can also pick up free valuable extra entries in the Daily Grand drawing to win great business-building prizes.

The most important thing

In the following LaunchPad lessons (and from other channels too), a lot of information is coming your way.  Don’t worry, you’ll get the hang of everything soon enough, but whatever you do, don’t forget what this lesson has told you:

  1. Review your action tabs every day

  2. Apply what you learn

If you do nothing but these two actions, success is virtually guaranteed.  So set a goal for yourself NOW to do these two actions every day, starting today!

…and REMEMBER:

Bitcoin BTC (Pioneering Digital Currency)

Bitcoin (BTC) is a pioneering digital currency invented by a yet-unknown individual or group of individuals presented as Satoshi Nakamoto. Early development began in 2008, during the financial crisis of 2008, with the landmark paper titled “Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System” being released on October 31, 2008. The primary purpose of Bitcoin is in the space of P2P financial transactions, though some supporters envision it more as a store of value.

Often called “Digital Gold” for its monetary properties which are similar to gold, the enduring popularity and market resilience of Bitcoin has encouraged the growth of other cryptocurrencies, and as a result it has come to be known as the “mother” or “father” of all cryptocurrencies. Initially limited to all but the most ardent technology enthusiasts, Bitcoin was responsible for convincing the masses that a P2P financial system devoid of middlemen and centralized was in fact possible, a characteristic made possible through its Proof-of-Work consensus algorithm which incentivized good behavior.

Since its inception in early 2009, Bitcoin has been through a number of changes and incidents, yet continues to thrive as the most popular token in the cryptocurrency market. This includes the famous Mt. Gox incident and several such cycles of price spikes and drops. The enduring nature of Bitcoin is a quality that is highly cherished by its proponents. Many tokens have been inspired by it, including similarly envisioned token Litecoin (LTC), which is often said to be the silver to Bitcoin’s gold. Because of the popularity and established nature of Bitcoin, it is often the base pair with which other cryptocurrencies are traded.

Classic Example of a Poor Person’s Mentality!(Jack Ma on sales)

Jack Ma once said, ‘When Selling to close friends and family, no matter how much you’re selling to them, they will always feel you’re earning their money, no matter how cheap you sell to them, they still wouldn’t appreciate it.’

There will always be people who do not care about your Costs, Time, Effort, they rather let other people cheat them, allowing others to earn, then supporting someone they know. Cause in their heart, they will always be thinking, ‘How much did he earn from me?’ instead of “How much did he SAVE/MAKE for me?”
This is a classic example of a poor person’s mentality!

Jack Ma on Sales: ‘When doing Sales, the first people who will trust you will be Strangers, Friends will be shielding against you, fair-weather friends will distance from you. Family will look down upon you.’

The day you finally succeed, paying the bill for every get-together dinner, entertainment, you will realized: Everyone else is present except the Strangers.

5 Reasons Why You Should Buy Referrals / Signups (Timebucks)

5 Reasons Why You Should Buy Referrals / Signups

1. Passive Income

You can earn a passive income daily for doing nothing!

2. Long Term Investment

You may be better off buying referrals rather than keeping your money in the bank earning very low interest. Once you buy referrals you are essentially investing and will get a return on your money that is paid weekly!

3. Make Money While You Sleep

When you buy referrals, you are earning commission off other peoples earnings for life. This means you can go to sleep and wake up with money! Or go on a holiday for a week and come back to more earnings!

4. Extra Targeting Options

When you start a campaign, you have the ability to target which website you want to buy signups for, which region in the world they are from, and the type of quality the user is ranging from those who have just signed up, to those who have earned at least $1 so far, or to those who have earned at least $10 and received a payout from TimeBucks. Best of all, once a person signs up to your referral link, that user can never sign up for the same website again so you can ensure you’re only getting unique signups and not just duplicates!

5. It’s Cheap

You can start with as little as $5 and you can add funds to your TimeBucks account via Credit/Debit Card, Bitcoin or AirTM.

What are you waiting for!

PLEASE NOTE: You cannot buy referrals for TimeBucks.com, you can only buy referrals for any other website. We recommend finding one of your favourite Reward sites and purchasing signups using that referral link.

Little Knowledge is Dangerous (don’t underestimate other people)

Teacher addresses a student and asks: “How many kidneys do we have?”

“Four!”, The student responds.

“Four? Haha,” The teacher was one of those who took pleasure in picking on his students’ mistakes and demoralizing them.

“Bring a bundle of grass, because we have an ass in the room,” the teacher orders a front bencher.

“And for me a coffee!”, the student added.

The teacher was furious and expelled the student from the room.

The student was, by the way, the humorist Aparicio Torelly Aporelly (1895-1971), better known as the “Baron de Itararé”.

On his way out of the classroom, the student still had the audacity to correct the furious teacher:

“You asked me how many kidneys‘ we have.” ‘We have four: two of mine and two of yours. ‘We have’ is an expression used for the plural. Enjoy the grass”.

Life demands much more understanding than knowledge. Sometimes people, because they have a little more knowledge or ‘believe’ that they have it, feel they have the right to underestimate others.

Darkest Lessons Life Has Taught

  1. Never seek happiness from other people. You will never be happy in life if you do, knowing the fact that you are your own master and you hold your own happiness.
  2. Never depend into people for anything, you will always be let down.
  3. Never hold your expectations high for anything, just be yourself and live for the moment being constantly who you are, because when we expect the most we always get let down.
  4. Never escape problems always try to face them and solve them, because if you do the problems get bigger and they will drain you out of your energy.
  5. Never allow people to dictate how you feel about yourself or to dictate your happiness in general.
  6. Never get affected by peoples thoughts, what they think of you, how they view you and what they are saying, what you think of yourself that’s what matters and how you view yourself.
  7. Always push yourself out of your comfort zone or at least try on daily basis to achieve success in life.
  8. Always fight for what you believe in and chase your dreams’’If your dreams don’t scare you they aren’t big enough’’.
  9. Always fight for what you believe in even if it means to stand against the people , remember you were born to stand out not to fit in, every individual is unique on it’s own, so do not afraid to stand out from the people.
  10. Learn to enjoy your own company only then you are going to be happy. Meaning life your life to the fullest and be proud with what you possess and who you are, this will make you attract the whole people around.
  11. Learn to love yourself, respect yourself, appreciate yourself, value yourself and take a good care of yourself, so you can reflect back with those things to the people.
  12. Never trust too early, never allow anyone to surpass your boundaries if they do learn to walk away.
  13. Never waste your time and energy to negative-toxic people there will always be someone on the line that is going to judge you so live for yourself and distance yourself from those individuals they will leave you drained out of energy and time, surround yourself with the positive, with the people that share your mindset, your world, your emotions and ideas.
  14. You don’t need to prove, you need to be. Never try proving yourself to anyone knowing the fact that you do not owe anything to anyone especially to the people that hold no value in you, the moment you feel that you need to prove your worth to someone is the moment that you should utterly walk away without wasting time and energy.
  15. Do not go on wasting your time and energy in life, you will need them later on, knowing the fact that every movement requires time and energy.
  16. Know that on your journey to a dream or your path you are going to lose lots of people, be ready for it, time will reveal peoples faces and you are going to be surprised with how much you have lost in the process especially if you are successful, do not allow that to take you out of your path or your dream, because if you are losing people that shows that you stood up for what you believed and you are still following that path and chasing that dream, the people that will fade know that they were never in there to begin with, only the true people that really loved you will stand on your side on your darkest and sweetest days those are the people that really care about you, the rest who fade are just history, even the people that you thought they were in there or you trusted them so much, that’s why time reveals everything.
  17. Do not go around Empathizing with every individual, be smart with your Empathy, share your Empathy with the right people, they will use that against you and hurt you badly, that’s the hard truth that i learned late in life.
  18. Be positive only then you are going to live a happy life, always wake up even if you are feeling bad, show up and start your day with a smile on your face, no matter what happens, you are responsible for your happiness do not allow people to dictate your moods.
  19. Grow everyday from life experiences as a human being, view every negative experience as a growing lesson, those experiences happen for a reason to grow your mind and to teach you a lesson, do not afraid them, be grateful that they happened because you are losing nothing on the process while you are earning everything, most importantly you are growing unlimited on daily basis and learning self control.
  20. When people provoke you it’s a positive thing, do not react, this is a test that life has thrown to you with this test you are basically going to know how mentally strong you are and how much in control you are with yourself, when those experiences happen over and over again you get stronger and more in control of yourself, the people that provoke you are wasting their time while you are earning lots on the process.
  21. Never allow your past to dictate your present or future. Live for the moment and make the best out of it.
  22. Never view people as all the same simply Black and White, everyone is different and everyone should be treated differently according to their character, if someone has hurt you in the past that does not mean that you should hurt another human being believing that everyone else will be bad.
  23. Never judge another individual. Never try to bring another individual down rather cheer them up.
  24. Never take life too seriously, you will be left drained, joke around and play around.
  25. Never go around trying to fix people especially if you are on an active relationship so they can love you, this is pure Co-Dependency and you are going to end up hurt.
  26. Know the fact that love will find you whenever you are already happy, because you are going to reflect to the people more attractive if you are simply being yourself, having a blast and being all confident on your own skin with your own company and caring less.
  27. Never beg, plead or cling for the people to stay with you especially in relationships, the door is open if it is meant to happen it will happen, if not the door is open they can leave, the right people in the right moment will enter your life and never leave, while the wrong people will leave.
  28. Never go around searching for Love desperately this will make you less attractive, because you are desperate and you are going to appear desperate.
  29. Life will force you to walk away from the people that you thought they were the right people for you, it will take you serious guts to walk away, it’s easier to stay then to walk especially from those types of individuals that you really love and care or you thought they were different while they were not, know the fact that you can’t really go against your destiny neither change it, so eventually you will have to learn the hard truth of walking away sometimes which will be the hardest thing for you.
  30. Know one thing in life’’God will give you the people that you need and deserve, not the ones that you want’’.
  31. Work smart in life rather then hard. Everything in life requires being smarter, so use your mind rather then wasting your body.
  32. Always forgive the people that have hurt you however never forget what they did to you. Why do you need to forgive them?So you can simply shift your valued time and energy from those people to someone new who deserves it so you won’t have anything to do with them anymore. Forgiving shows maturity and growth however you are going to never forget, you need to show those people that there should be a difference between you and them. Just take it this way if you get a clean paper and you write something in it then you erase the things with a rubber, will the page ever be as clean as it was?Nope because there will always be some rubber left in the paper.
  33. Know that the only Unconditional Love and Care that you are going to ever receive is from your parents, no body else will give you those things, so stop searching for those things from other people.
  34. Do not overthink before doing anything, because they chances are you will never get the thing done, just think less act more, go out there show up and stop overthinking, because you are going to got trapped on those thoughts forever.
  35. Learn to fight your own battles in life, do not expect people to fight them for you, everyone has a battle going on you will be severely disappointing.
  36. Learn to pick yourself up when life brings you down to your knees, do not expect people to pick you up because no one will do that for you. Why do we fall? To learn to pick ourselves up.
  37. Whenever you do something good you should do it without expecting anything in return because if you do expect something in return you will be diassapointed.

Earn Money & MLM

Where does money come from and what significance does it have on our society? The economy values a conscious relationship with the legal means of payment. Those who purchase the right insurance protect their assets from everyday risks. Well, saving money has to be learned. It is even better to be skilled in investing in the stock market, bonds or currencies.

Bitcoins

Bitcoins are an anonymous payment system which is not subject to a central administration (central bank). Thus, its value can not be altered or manipulated by banks. The price for a Bitcoin is solely determined by supply and demand. As a result, the corresponding value in US dollars has temporarily increased by a hundred-fold since its launch in 2009. Bitcoins are encrypted, which is why they can be traded anonymously. This has provoked the lasting effect that they have become a popular method of payment on black markets all around the world. It therefore remains to be seen if Bitcoins can become a serious alternative to an official currency.

Euro

Since the 1st of January 2002, the Euro is the official currency of the European Economic and Monetary Union. It is used by more than 320 million people and is regarded as the worlds second largest reserve currency, right behind the US dollar. The Euro facilitates the trade between members of the Euro zone, which has a positive impact on the economic growth of the participating countries. At the same time, it acts as a tangible political symbol of a common political identity.

Counterfeit Money

For each inhabitant in Germany, there circulates around 30 eurocents of counterfeit money. More than 60.000 forged banknotes have been seized in 2010, whereas particularly the €50, €20 and €100 banknotes were affected. Thanks to a multitude of visible and invisible security features, the opportunities to identify fake paper bills are very advanced. Federal banks are nowadays able to determine the authenticity of a banknote in 99,9% of cases.

GOLD

Whilst most countries followed the gold standard during the 19th century – which means that the amount of money always had to be proportional to the gold reserves – such a fixed exchange rate is practically no longer pursued in the 21st century. However, the precious metal is still considered a hedge against inflation, which is why many countries have stashed thousands of tons of gold. By the way: the United States is the country that has the largest gold reserves worldwide.

Pocket Money

The main task of handing pocket money to children, is to teach them to handle money independently and to learn to maintain their expenses. The amount of money that a child should receive, primarily depends on his age, as well as on his place of residence and the financial situation of his parents. In general, teachers recommend that parents whose children are attending the same class, should coordinate the amount of pocket money. Pictured here: a weekly pocket money recommendation for children of different ages from Germany.

Brand-Washed: Tricks Companies Use to Manipulate Our Minds and Persuade Us to Buy (Summary)

Foreword by Morgan Spurlock

From the bestselling author of Buyology comes a shocking insider’s look at how today’s global giants conspire to obscure the truth and manipulate our minds, all in service of  persuading us to buy.

Marketing visionary Martin Lindstrom has been on the front lines of the branding wars for over twenty years.  Here, he turns the spotlight on his own industry, drawing on all he has witnessed behind closed doors, exposing for the first time the full extent of the psychological tricks and traps that companies devise to win our hard-earned dollars.

Picking up from where Vance Packard’s bestselling classic, The Hidden Persuaders, left off more than half-a-century ago, Lindstrom reveals:

   • New findings that reveal how advertisers and marketers intentionally target children at an alarmingly young age – starting when they are still in the womb!
   • Shocking results of an fMRI study which uncovered what heterosexual men really think about when they see sexually provocative advertising (hint: it isn’t their girlfriends).
   • How marketers and retailers stoke the flames of public panic and capitalize on paranoia over global contagions, extreme weather events, and food contamination scares.
   • The first ever neuroscientific evidence proving how addicted we all are to our iPhones and our Blackberry’s (and the shocking reality of cell phone addiction – it can be harder to shake than addictions to drugs and alcohol).
   • How companies of all stripes are secretly mining our digital footprints to uncover some of the most intimate details of our private lives, then using that information to target us with ads and offers ‘perfectly tailored’ to our psychological profiles.
   • How certain companies, like the maker of one popular lip balm, purposely adjust their formulas in order to make their products chemically addictive.
   • What a 3-month long guerilla marketing experiment, conducted specifically for this book, tells us about the most powerful hidden persuader of them all.
   • And much, much more.
This searing expose introduces a new class of tricks, techniques, and seductions – the Hidden Persuaders of the 21st century- and shows why they are more insidious and pervasive than ever.

Rich Dad Poor Dad (Summary)

Rich Dad Poor Dad is Robert’s story of growing up with two dads — his real father and the father of his best friend, his rich dad — and the ways in which both men shaped his thoughts about money and investing. The book explodes the myth that you need to earn a high income to be rich and explains the difference between working for money and having your money work for you.

20 Years… 20/20 Hindsight
In the 20th Anniversary Edition of this classic, Robert offers an update on what we’ve seen over the past 20 years related to money, investing, and the global economy. Sidebars throughout the book will take readers “fast forward” — from 1997 to today — as Robert assesses how the principles taught by his rich dad have stood the test of time.

In many ways, the messages of Rich Dad Poor Dad, messages that were criticized and challenged two decades ago, are more meaningful, relevant and important today than they were 20 years ago.

As always, readers can expect that Robert will be candid, insightful… and continue to rock more than a few boats in his retrospective.

Will there be a few surprises? Count on it.

Rich Dad Poor Dad
• Explodes the myth that you need to earn a high income to become rich
• Challenges the belief that your house is an asset
• Shows parents why they can’t rely on the school system to teach their kids
about money
• Defines once and for all an asset and a liability
• Teaches you what to teach your kids about money for their future financial
success

What Books Should Entrepreneurs Read?

20 Best Books That Will Make You “More Successful” In Entrepreneurship and Beyond

One behavior that separates the successful from the average: they make changes that last.

If you ask me “how to make changes that really last?” Well, it’s the simplest tool: Reading.

Whether they are new releases or classics from years ago, books transport us to another world OR they help us better understand the one we’re living in.

Books have a magical ability to help us think in new ways. Books can change your life.

A mind once exposed to a new idea will never return to its original dimensions. — Oliver Wendell Holmes

Books not only help us make positive changes in our lives, but they also help us to transform our abilities.

Here are 20 best books to become better, successful at entrepreneurship & beyond — and perhaps become a better human overall.

BOOK NO 1 → The No Asshole Rule by Robert I. Sutton

According to this book, negative interactions have a much stronger effect on mood than positive interactions.

So you can see that keeping around that “very productive A**hole” may have deeper implications that do not show up on the books but take a toll on the ones around him/her.

Many books talk about how enthusiasm and working harder with passion allows you to get around people who are demeaning and rude at work. This book explains that this is not necessarily the head-on a solution to avoid rudeness in the workplace.

In some instances, developing indifference and emotional detachment may be the best way to survive in the long run while achieving small victories. In the end, small victories can lead to winning the war.

Learning:

Don’t be an a**hole. Recognition is a better way to motivate people around you.

BOOK NO 2 → The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey

This book’s focal point is an approach to obtain Personal and Interpersonal effectiveness.

Covey points out that “private victories precede public victories.” He makes the example that “making and keeping promises to ourselves comes before making and keeping promises to others.

Habits 1, 2, and 3 deal with self-mastery. They move an individual from dependency on others to independence. Habits 4, 5, and 6 deal with teamwork, cooperation, and communication.

These habits deal with transforming a person from dependency to independence to interdependence.

Interdependence simply means mutual dependence. Habit 7 embodies all of the other habits to help an individual work toward continuous improvement.

Learning: Relationships are emotional bank accounts. Keep cultivating.

BOOK NO 3 → The Charisma Myth by Olivia Fox Cabane

We all admire and envy those individuals who have it: the ability to walk into a room and captivate the attention of everyone.

Imagine how much easier your life and your work would be if you had that natural quality. Everyone would want to be around you, would hang on every word that comes out of your mouth — and would want to do what you want.

In The Charisma Myth, Olivia Fox Cabane makes a convincing argument that you can have that ability because charisma is the product of a certain mindset and behaviours that are trainable.

In short, if you read this book, and practice and apply its techniques, you too can be the light bulb instead of one of the moths.

Learning: Show charisma! Don’t be a robot.

BOOK NO 4→ The Art of Nonconformity by Chris Guillebeau

If you’ve ever thought, “There must be more to life than this,” The Art of Nonconformity is for you.

Based on Chris Guillebeau’s popular online manifesto “A Brief Guide to World Domination,” The Art of Nonconformity defies common assumptions about life and work while arming you with the tools to live differently.

You’ll discover how to live on your own terms by exploring creative self-employment, radical goal-setting, contrarian travel, and embracing life as a constant adventure.

Inspired and guided by Chris’s own story and those of others who have pursued unconventional lives, you can devise your own plan for world domination and make the world a better place at the same time.

Learning: Do work that creates value to others.

BOOK NO 5 → Emotional Intelligence by Daniel Goleman

Do you have what it takes to succeed in your career?

The secret of success is not what they taught you in school. What matters most is not IQ, not a business school degree, not even technical know-how or years of expertise.

The single most important factor in job performance and advancement is emotional intelligence.

Emotional intelligence is actually a set of skills that anyone can acquire, and in this practical guide, Daniel Goleman identifies them, explains their importance, and shows how they can be fostered.

Readers also discover how emotional competence can be learned. Goleman analyzes five key sets of skills and vividly shows how they determine who is hired and who is fired in the top corporations in the world. He also provides guidelines for training in the “emotionally intelligent organization,” in chapters that no one, from manager to CEO, should miss.

Learning: Show empathy, and learn to mirror body language.

BOOK NO 6 → Finding Your Element by Ken Robinson

Ken Robinson introduced readers to a new concept of self-fulfilment and has inspired readers around the world. When people find their Element, they tune into their highest levels and live their best lives.

Now, in his new book, Robinson answers the fundamental question: How do I find my Element?

With his signature wry wit, Robinson offers a series of practical exercises to help you discover your own talents and passions. Along the way, he tells the stories of many “ordinary” people in all walks of life who have overcome obstacles of every sort to find their Element.

And he explores fundamental principles and vital questions to help you find yours: What are you good at? What do you love? What makes you happy? Where are you now? Your answers to these and many others will provide you with invaluable keys to discovering your Element.

Learning: Find a community of like-minded people to help you achieve your goals.

BOOK NO 7 → Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill

This book is a classic self-help book. Napoleon Hill has done extensive research about various successful people of his time and presented 13 Principles that lead to success.

The book helps and tries to make you think the right way so that you can be “rich.”

Not only it’ll boost the

self

-confidence of the reader but it brings the basics of making wealth in every field among financial, social, personal, academic etc.

Think And Grow Rich brings out the best in you and enables you to think about far bigger possibilities in your life than you would imagine. Though it might take some practice to work towards it, it’s truly worth it.

Learning: Share a goal with a group of intelligent people.

BOOK NO 8 → Never Eat Alone by Keith Ferrazzi

Do you want to get ahead in life? Climb the ladder to personal success?

The secret, master networker Keith Ferrazzi claims, is in reaching out to other people.

Ferrazzi’s form of connecting to the world around him is based on generosity, helping friends connect with other friends. Ferrazzi distinguishes genuine relationship-building from the crude, desperate glad-handling usually associated with “networking.”

He then distils his system of reaching out to people into practical, proven principles.

In the course of the book, Ferrazzi outlines the timeless strategies shared by the world’s most connected individuals, from Katherine Graham to Bill Clinton, Vernon Jordan to the Dalai Lama.

Learning: Be generous, ask yourself “How can I help others?”

BOOK NO 9 → How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie

This is the one book that should be a part of everyone’s reading list irrespective of their field or interest.

If you are an entrepreneur, read it! If you are a teacher, read it! If you are a truck driver read it! Once you’ve read it — re-read it again and again.

The reason I am saying this is because the book is an absolute gem and if the lessons are taken seriously, it can change your relationships with people upside down (of course for good ).

This book is a classic, and much more than a book on communication. It will help you understand yourself and others. It will improve you in many ways. It will work for both personal and professional relations.

Dale Carnegie! The name itself is sufficient when it comes to human psychology and self-help. 100’s of live examples, read it and when the situation arrives, respond in the manner that Carnegie teaches. I am sure very we get into these kinda situations daily when we can not help anymore.

Learning: Be a good listener, give the person your full attention.

BOOK NO 10 → The Start-up of You by Reid Hoffman

The Start-Up of You is an excellent book to motivate and inspire you to take charge and accountability of your professional career.

The authors intertwine interesting historical references and extensive personal experiences to provide a road-map to transforming your career.

Reid Hoffman and Ben Casnocha explains that the classic model (Show up for 9–5 every day, get a steady pay check, and earn promotions every so often) is dying.

Then they explain in an understandable way, that you need to embrace your personal brand, engage with the people ‘around’ you in a meaningful way, and have an eye on the adjacent possible.

To that segment, this is a pretty decent call to step it up, hustle as they say, and own their careers. So if you know someone still in that mindset, send them this book.

Learning: Find groups that can connect you to high-performing individuals.

BOOK NO 11 → Delivering Happiness by Tony Hsieh

Delivering Happiness has become the trade phrase for Zappos. The autobiographical story of Tony’s childhood and career at times seems self-indulgent and veers into frat boy territory, Harvard style. Hsieh is open about the fact that the writing is all his and that it’s not literary genius.

Without conscious and deliberate effort, inertia always wins

. — Best Quote

Much of the rest of the book is a fascinating history of how Zappos evolved and grew from nothing to $1 billion in gross sales in less than 10 years.

Along the way, Tony explains how he learned business lessons from a summer fling with playing poker in Vegas. One of those lessons was to figure out what he really wanted to get out of life. Highly enjoyable book.

Learning: Focus on learning for personal and professional development.

BOOK NO 12 → Mastery by Robert Greene

Mastery is an analytical book.

Robert Greene has carefully picked anecdotes to convey his points. These stories will definitely capture the reader’s attention because they are very fascinating.

The book contains many stories which may confuse the readers. So, the author has repeated some of the background information from time to time in order to make things easy and clear.

The author has picked historical figures such as Leonardo Da Vinci as well as contemporary ones like Temple Grandin, Paul Graham etc. This essence is presented in this book which will teach readers many great lessons.

Learning: Networking is not a talent, it’s a skill — so find a mentor to provide you guidance

BOOK NO 13 → Why We Make Mistakes by Joseph T. Hallinan

In order to get better at thinking well, it is helpful (and entertaining) to look at what poor thinking looks like. There are scores of books that survey this landscape and I have read many of them.

Joseph Hallinan’s Why We Make Mistakes is one of the most systematic and enjoyable.

Each chapter exposes a different common but often unconscious error in thinking that we humans display. The common thread between most of these seems to be that people employ a lot of efficient but often erroneous thinking shortcuts.

It is a very interesting book on a subject that should be relevant to anyone who aims at thinking clearly. As mentioned by the author, one can only get better at something when one is cognizant of one’s mistakes and the areas in which to look for them.

Learning: Don’t overestimate your skills!

BOOK NO 14 → Give and Take by Adam Grant

We all are aware of benefits of giving but the insights this book brings is awesome. The analysis based on real life stories discussed here are eye opening and the book is full of ideas through which you can create your own giving circles and help people in need.

A most insightful work that reaffirms what we all instinctively feel but perhaps have lost — that helping others out in life is not only great for the soul but pays off in other benefits in life.

It is an affirmation of the natural goodness of human nature.

Clearly, if we have to create a better workplace and build winning teams, we need to take a leaf out of this book and act on it.

Learning: Be a giver, not a taker.

BOOK NO 15 → Crush It! by Gary Vaynerchuk

Do you have a hobby you wish you could indulge in all day? An obsession that keeps you up at night? Now is the perfect time to take that passion and make a living doing what you love.

In Crush It! Why NOW Is the Time to Cash In on Your Passion, Gary Vaynerchuk shows you how to use the power of the Internet to turn your real interests into real businesses.

Gary spent years building his family business from a local wine shop into a national industry leader. Then one day he turned on a video camera, and by using the secrets revealed here, transformed his entire life and earning potential by building his personal brand.

By the end of this book, readers will have learned how to harness the power of the Internet to make their entrepreneurial dreams come true. Step by step, Crush It! is the ultimate driver’s manual for modern business.

Learning: See new potentials and react quickly.

BOOK NO 16 → So Good They Can’t Ignore You by Cal Newport

If you are working for someone else, read this book now (it does not matter if you are just starting your career, in the middle of it, or towards the end).

The book clearly lays out the most important aspects that you need to get right, while you plan and build your career. The book prescribes a clear road-map on how to get to work you love.

Cal provides very specific guidance on what needs to be accomplished in each phase of the (career) journey, with very simple tests to check if you have completed that phase of the journey. Cal also provides suggestions on how each phase of the journey can be approached by providing examples of what worked (and more importantly) and what did not work for people whom he spoke to while researching the book.

Cal shares how he has used the strategies described in the book while building his own career.

Learning: Develop rare and valuable skills.

BOOK NO 17 → The Trust Edge by David Horsager

This is not just a business book. This is an incredible book for those in leadership positions.

We live in a world where truth and trust have become relative. Dave’s principles take us back to reality in realizing that trust is black and white. We either trust people, products, companies, etc. or we don’t.

Dave provides practical tools and ideas to repair, rebuild, grow and build trust. While it’s in the business section this is a book for every segment of life!

Learning: Establish, motivate, and teach others how to build and maintain trust.

BOOK NO 18 → Built to Last by Jim Collins, Jerry Porras

“This is not a book about charismatic visionary leaders. It is not about visionary product concepts or visionary products or visionary market insights. Nor is it about just having a corporate vision. This is a book about something far more important, enduring, and substantial. This is a book about visionary companies.”

So write Jim Collins and Jerry Porras in this groundbreaking book that shatters myths, provides new insights and gives practical guidance to those who would like to build landmark companies that stand the test of time.

Learning: Know your values and act towards them, because visionaries are inspiring

BOOK NO 19 → Everything I Know by Paul Jarvis

Everything I Know is a no-rules guide through uncharted territory. It’s a swift kick in the creative ass without fairies, unicorns or new-age cliches. Paul Jarvis is the strategic and design talent behind some of the world’s most successful entrepreneurs and online businesses — including Danielle LaPorte, Marie Forleo, Yahoo, The High Line and Mercedes-Benz — and he’s learned a thing or two about forging your own path in life and work.

Instead of offering one-size-fits-all advice, Paul provides an infinitely flexible template for adventure.

Learning: Be yourself, have a unique personality.

BOOK NO 20 → The 4-Hour Workweek by Tim Ferriss

A life changing book for people who are looking forward to living a more fulfilling and balanced life. Most of the instances and situations are something we must be familiar with but still strikes us as to how we still haven’t realized the same.

Take, for instance, the fact that more the time is given for a specific task, greater the amount of mind space it occupies. And most of the occasions we end up working on it during the last minute.

This book gives some excellent examples to tackle such situations and use it to our advantage. Tim Ferriss will make you forget the old concept of retirement and the rest of the deferred-life plan — there is no need to wait and every reason not to, especially in unpredictable economic times.

Learning: Face your fears to leave your comfort zone and live a life you always wanted to live.

Nothing Ever Happens Without Taking Actions

Sir Richard Charles Nicholas Branson, founder of Virgin Group Ltd., controls over 400 companies.

Branson started his entrepreneurial journey with a magazine publication, and has since successfully expanded into a variety of industries, such as music, banking, aviation, space flight, healthcare, mobile phones, retail, travel, to name a few.

Branson did not excel at school as he struggled with dyslexia, and was more interested in extracurricular activities.

At the age of fifteen, he started his first business trying to grow trees. He then dropped out of high school at age sixteen.

After quitting school, he started a magazine about youth culture, called The Student.

Branson started to sell advertisements to companies trying to tap into the student market.

He then started a mail-order record company called Virgin to complement the student magazine.

As his record business expanded, Branson started his own record label, Virgin Music.

In 1984, Branson started Virgin Atlantic Airways, competing in a market dominated by British Airways.

In 1999, Branson started Virgin Mobile.

I could go on and on with a huge list of actions that Branson has started over the years.

What’s Branson’s rule 1 to success?

Branson was not a great student or a great business manager — he’s a great starter!

The first rule to success is to STOP thinking and planning about whatever you are dreaming of accomplishing in your life, and GET STARTED TODAY!

Nothing ever happens without taking action.

Don’t Judge the Book By It’s Cover(What are Some Real Life Examples, Good or Bad, of Karma?)

-Historical karma-

In 1910, there was a pneumonic plague with a 100% mortality rate known as the Manchurian plague broke out in Northeastern China which claimed the lives of about 60,000 people.

Doctors from all over came to assess the viral pandemic and one of which was a Malaysian Chinese doctor by the name of Wu Lien Teh(伍連德) who although didn’t seem that much impressive at first glance, discovered that the plague was actually airborne and not carried by fleas which many had suspected at the time.

He then further improved on the surgery masks which he saw in the west into a more robust mask made of gauze and cotton which eventually became the N95 masks we know today.

But one prominent French doctor by the name of Gérald Mesny refused to wear his mask and further dismissed his invention in a racist manner saying, “What can we expect from a Chinaman?”.

This French doctor soon caught the plague and died two days later.

Moral of the story? Never judge someone based on their skin color but by the quality and content of their character because you might find yourself on the losing end instead.

What’s the Difference Between Analogy, Metaphor and Simile?

Different Versions and Definitions of each Terminology

  • A simile is a literary device and is a comparison between two or more dissimilar things:
For example: Love is like a virus. Similes most often use the expression “is like” or “as.”
    Examples:
“Kissing a smoker is like licking an ash tray.”
“…the day of the Lord will come…like a thief in the night.”
“…A word fitly told is like apples of gold in pitchers of silver.”
  • Metaphors are the smallest units of comparison between things that are unalike. They serve to make difficult concepts easier to understand by comparing something we don’t know much about with something which is more familiar.

Metaphors also make literary texts more vibrant and enjoyable to read, BUT are in fact “literal lies.”

Metaphors use forms of the verb “to be,” such as “He
is a cloud without water.” “They are hell on wheels.”
    More Examples:
…My soul is a darkened forest.”
…Your solution will be like putting perfume on a bag of crap.
…My wife, Brenda, rained on my parade.
…The teaching of the wise is a fountain of life.” (Proverbs / Bible)
…”I am the light of the world.”
  • Analogies are extended metaphors.
Example Comparison of “life” to “baseball.”

…Life is a game of baseball. You have to make it to first base by yourself, but you are also dependent on your team mates.
…You always get a new turn at bat because baseball is all about recovering from failure.
…The most important thing in life or baseball is is reaching home plate…(your ultimate goal or objective).
…To reach home plate, learn to ignore the fans, and listen carefully to the coaches.

Metaphors:

  • Defy logic to assert that one thing is another thing, despite not all of the parts lining up (all the world’s a stage, Shakespeare wrote; life is a highway, Tom Cochrane sang)
  • Come from the Greek word “metaphor,” which means “to transfer,” as in transferring the meaning of one word to another word (fact: cancer cells grow and divide uncontrollably -> metaphor: cancer cells forgot how to die)
  • Add color

Analogies:

  • Are logical arguments for a proportional relationship between two sets of qualities.
  • Come from the Greek word “analogia,” meaning “proportion”
  • Provide insight by explaining something complex using something familiar

Simile is a figure of speech that makes a comparison, showing similarities between two different things. It uses the words ”like” and ”as” for comparing two things. For eg.: John is as slow as a snail. Snails are notorious for their slow pace and here the slowness of John is compared to that of a snail. The use of “as” in the example helps to draw the resemblance. Metaphor is a figure of speech which makes an implicit, implied or hidden comparison between two things or objects that are poles apart from each other but have some

I you google the three terms followed by “definition”, you find out:

noun

noun: analogy; plural noun: analogies

  1. a comparison between two things, typically for the purpose of explanation or clarification.”an analogy between the workings of nature and those of human societies”a correspondence or partial similarity.”the syndrome is called deep dysgraphia because of its analogy to deep dyslexia”a thing that is comparable to something else in significant respects.”works of art were seen as an analogy for works of nature”Logica process of arguing from similarity in known respects to similarity in other respects.synonyms:similarity, parallel, correspondence, likeness, resemblance, correlation, relation, kinship, equivalence, similitude, metaphor, simile “there’s a thinly veiled analogy between his fiction and his real life”antonyms:dissimilarityLinguisticsa process by which new words and inflections are created on the basis of regularities in the form of existing ones.Biologythe resemblance of function between organs that have a different evolutionary origin.

simile is a figure of speech that directly compares two different things. The simile is usually in a phrase that begins with “as” or “like.” … The often nonsensical aspect of similes make them a fun way to get kids excited about reading and writing. See more similes with our simile flashcard set.

Difference Between Predominate and Overrun?

Let’s use some examples.

Bread predominates my diet if I mostly eat bread. It’s the main element of my diet. Here, “predominate” doesn’t mean anything good or bad. It’s just saying I eat more bread than anything else.

A politician predominates over a conversation if they don’t let anyone else speak. They use their position of power to make sure they have control. Here, “predominate” is saying one thing is more powerful than the other. It’s not saying everyone else is weak or bad.

A farm is overrun by bugs if there are many, many bugs on it and they are interfering with the farm. The focus is on the number of bugs. Here, “overrun” is saying the number of bugs is too large to deal with.

You overrun your budget if you spend all your money. There is too much of something (expenditure) and something else runs out (your savings).

Thesaurus.com says:

Predominate

No One Can Predict Tomorrows Victors

You cannot know what awaits you tomorrow, but find and take the right tools. Stop saying “I try” and “I hope”, start saying “I change” and ” I do”. Never give up!

Read the life of these person before success:

J.K. ROWLING
J.K. Rowling had just divorced, received a subsidy from the government, and could barely afford to feed her baby in 1994. She was so poor that she couldn’t afford a computer or the expense of copying her 90,000-word novel. Without getting discouraged he manually typed each version to be sent to the publishers and the book was rejected dozens of times.

J. CARREY
When Jim Carrey was 14, his father lost his job and his family had hard times. They moved into a Volkswagen van on a relative’s lawn, and the aspiring comedian worked eight hours in the factory every day after school to help make ends meet.

S. KING
Stephen King was in financial trouble when he was trying to write for the first time. He lived in a trailer with his wife, also a writer, and both worked in multiple jobs to support their family as they pursued their dream. They were so poor that they had to borrow clothes for their wedding and got rid of the phone because it was too expensive.

“Love is not a Force! It is a Power From Strength of a Soul”

“Love is not a force! It is a power from strength of a soul”~. Swetaleena

People used to say: “Kindness & love cost nothing”!

Yes but in reality it needs a lot!
“Nothing easier than hate but love needs a great soul”.

“If I love you because you love me, that is mere trade, a thing to be bought in the market; it is not love”.

Love is giving and sharing but we can’t give what we do not have~.

The purpose of all relationships is to go there to give!
To meet each other’s needs.
To share our completeness and create beautiful memories!

Love is about mutual appreciation and admiration.
It does not require something in return.

Two Types of Signals

  • There are two types of signals. They are:
    – Analog Signals
    – Digital Signals
  • An analog signal x(t) is represented by a real number at a given time point.
  • A digital signal is “binary” in nature, i.e., it takes on only two values: low (0) or high (1).
  • Although we have shown 0 and 1 as constant levels, in reality, that is not required. Any value in the low (high) band will be interpreted as 0 (1) by digital circuits.
  • The definition of low and high bands depends on the technology used, e.g.,
    – TTL (Transistor-Transistor Logic)
    – CMOS (Complementary MOS)
    – ECL (Emitter-Coupled Logic)
  • The circuit is called an “inverter” because it inverts the logic level of the input. If the input is 0, it makes the output 1, and vice versa.
  • Digital circuits are made using a variety of devices. The simple BJT inverter is only an illustration.
  • Most of the VLSI circuits today employ the MOS technology because of the high packing density, high speed, and low power consumption it offers.
  • A major advantage of digital systems is that even if the original data gets distorted (e.g., in transmitting through optical fiber or storing on a CD) due to noise, attenuation, etc., it can be retrieved easily.
  • There are several other benefits of using digital representation:
    – It can use computers to process the data.
    – It can store in a variety of storage media.
    – It can program the functionality.
  • The following relationships exist in logical operations:
    – The AND operation is commutative.
       A . B = B . A
    – The AND operation is associative.
       (A . B) . C = A . (B . C)
    – The OR operation is commutative.
       A + B = B + A
    – The OR operation is associative.
       (A + B) + C = A + (B + C)
  • A Karnaugh map (“K-map”) is a representation of the truth table of a logical function.
  • A K-map can be used to obtain a \minimal” expression of a function in the sum-of-products form or in the product-of-sums form.

“Goddess of Pop”

Commonly referred to as “Goddess of Pop,” Cher is one of the most popular female singers in the world who also had success in acting. She is often described as a powerful female figure in a male-dominated industry. Cher has a very unique voice categorized as contralto singing.

Cher initially gained popularity for her work on The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour, a television show she hosted her ex-husband. Afterward, she tried acting and participated in movies like Silkwood, Mask, The Witches of Eastwick, and Moonstruck, receiving an Academy Award for Best Actress for the latter.

Cher’s music career is marked by the willingness to experiment and reinvent herself while adopting different music styles. According to her, she wants to “remain relevant and do work that strikes a chord.” Her most known songs include hits “Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves,” “If I Could Turn Back Time,” and “Believe.”

Quality Management and the Evolution of Six Sigma:

Six Sigma is a business improvement approach.  Seeks to find and eliminate causes of defects and errors in manufacturing and service processes. Focuses on outputs that are critical to customers and a clear financial return for the organization.

Aims at producing no more than 3.4 ppm defects. Pioneered by Motorola in the mid-1980s. Popularized by the success of General Electric.

Evolution of Quality Management:
– Inspections
– Statistical Process Control (SPC)
– Design of Experiment (DOE)
– Taguchi method
– Quality Management Systems
– Six Sigma

Total Quality Management – ISO 9000, QS 9000, ISO 14000

ISO 9000:2000ISO 9000 defines quality system standards.A big help in housekeeping in most organisations

A Quality system standard adopted by the International Organisation for Standardization in 1987;  Revised in 1994 and 2000
Technical specifications and criteria to be used as rules, guidelines or definition of characteristics to ensure that materials, products, processes and services are fit for their purpose.
ISO 9000:2000 Quality Management Principles:Customer Focus, Leadership, Involvement of People, Process Approach, System Approach to  Management, Continual Improvement, Factual Approach to Decision Making, Mutually Beneficial  Supplier Relationships
ISO 14000 – A set of international standards for assessing a company’s environmental performance.
Standards in three major areas: Management systems, Operations, Environmental systems

DMAIC is a special framework used in every Six Sigma project – DMAIC stands for Define,  Measure, Analysis, Improve, Control

  • Quality Management and the Evolution of Six Sigma:- Skilled craftmanship during the Middle Ages- Industrial Revolution: Rise of inspection and separate quality departments- Early 20th Century: Statistical methods at Bell System- Quality control during World War II- Post-war Japan: Evolution of quality management

Quality Management has matured into:- Quality Planning- Quality Assurance- Quality Control
  • TQM versus Six Sigma

    TQM
    – Based on worker empowerment and teams
    – Department or workplace focus
    – Simple improvement tools
    – Little financial accountability

  • Six Sigma
    – Owned by business leader champions
    – Cross functional projects
    – Rigorous and advanced statistical tools
    – Requires verifiable return on investment

A typical TQM tool:
– Illustrates relationship between causes and quality problems
– Subdivides causes into their underlying components
– An effective tool to generate ideas systematically about causes for problems and to present  them in a structured form

Basic TQM Tools:
Flowcharts, Check sheets, Histograms, Pareto charts, Scatter diagrams, Control charts,  Cause-and-effect (Fishbone) diagrams, Run charts

Sources of Variation in Production Processes
Inputs – Materials, Tools
Process – People, Methods, Technology, Environment
Outputs – Measurement instruments, Human inspection performance

Soft Methods for Gathering Ideas to impact quality problems:
Brainstorming, Quality circles, Interviewing, Benchmarking, 5W2H

Assessing Measurement Data
If you use an instrument or gage to measure several parts from a process and record the  results, we must recognize that the resultant data represents the variation in the parts as  well as the variation in the measurement process:
                                                              Vdata = Vparts + Vmeasurement

Gage R & R Studies – Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility

Repeatability – The basic inherent precision of the gauge
Reproducibility – The variability due to different operators using the gauge

Six Sigma Methodology
DMAIC – Incorporates a wide variety of statistical and process improvement tools
Generally the goal is to reach 3.4 ppm defect level

Six Sigma works for everyone:
– Customers – Higher satisfaction at lower cost
– Plant managers – Reduce waste, improve product consistency, solve equipment problems, create  capacity
– Human resource managers – Reduce cycle time for hiring processes
– Sales managers – Improve forecast reliability, pricing strategies, pricing variation
– Anyone – Better understand customer needs and tailor service offerings to meet them

Quality Gurus: Edward Deming, Joseph Juran, Armand Feigenbaum, Kaoru Ishikawa, Philip  Crosby, Genichi Taguchi

Consequences of poor quality:
Product fails, Does not meet requirement, Goes over competitive pricing, Delivery goes  beyond deadline, Loss of business, Liability, Productivity loss, Costs

TQM says “Responsibility for Quality must be shared throughout”
– Top management
– Design, technology
– Procurement, contract mgmt
– Production/operations/inspectors
– Quality assurance
– Packaging and shipping, delivery
– Marketing and sales
– Customer service/after sales

Creativity requires facilitation.

Problem solving begins with problem identification.

Quality management requires keeping internal customers satisfied.

One role of Research and Development is to determine how processes work.

Service quality cannot be managed when customer expectations are not known.

Design of Experiments (DOE) implies a method to find factor effects. A key factor being left out may result in the failure of a Design of Experiment.

Cause-effect diagram is used in problem analysis.

Accuracy implies that the average performance is on target. Accuracy can be improved by the use of X-bar charts.

Precision in production means parts produced have little or no variation.

Competitive Sales Strategies

No matter how good you are you will not win every sale, if you’re going to lose a sale lose quickly so you don’t waste your time, money and resources trying to secure it.
Only two reasons for losing, outsold by better competitor, opportunity not properly qualified.
Qualifying sales stage critical focus:
• Compelling need.
• Budget.
• Right solution.
• Business value.
• Relationships.
Forecast accuracy:
• Weighted according to sales cycle stage.
Sales forecast weighting:
• Need qualified.
• Full understanding of all factor.
• Solution designed, accepted.
• Proof provided/accepted.
• Sale closed.

  • Best practices for creating a proposal:
    • Combination of your sales efforts to-date.
    • Technical proposals written by technical experts.
    • Clear reporting structure.
    • Use appendix format.
    • Clear articulation of value proposal.
    • Use an executive summary.
  • Writing proposals is a powerful sales tool, the technical description should be in two parts, A: the business application, B: the technical detail.
The executive summary should only be a page, no longer than that. It should be before the index in the proposal and avoid a thank you letter in the proposal.
    The executive summary:
    • Compelling need.
    • Solution.
    • Price.
    • Value statement.
    • Credibility statement.
  • The key points from this module are:
  • Negotiating mutual interest:
    • Not a competition.
    • Not an ego game.
    • Mutual benefit.
    • No emotion.
  • Collaborative partnership process involves both parties willing to commit fulfillment, not a traditional win-win. As a sale person, you want a win-win situation, but you want to win a little bit more.
Win with creating mutual interest is the ideal way to win.
Value chart:• What’s valuable? – What you think is valuable about the product/service or solution.• So, what? – is what you answer would be to the customer if the challenged your valuable statement.• For whom is this valuable? – who within the customer organization would each value be valuable for.

Sadio Mane (The Liverpool Star from Senegal)

Sadio Mane, The Liverpool Star from Senegal (earning approximately 10.2 million dollars annually),has given the world a lesson in modesty after some fans spotted him carrying a cracked Iphone. His response is legendary:

“Why would I want ten Ferraris, 20 diamond watches and two jet planes? What would that do for the world? I starved, I worked in the fields, I played barefoot, and I didn’t go to school. Now I can help people. I prefer to build schools and give poor people food or clothing. I have built schools [and] a stadium; we provide clothes, shoes, and food for people in extreme poverty. In addition, I give 70 euros per month to all people from a very poor Senegalese region in order to contribute to their family economy. I do not need to display luxury cars, luxury homes, trips, and even planes. I prefer that my people receive a little of what life has given me,” Mane said.

What is SEO and the Activity of SEO?

SEO (Search Engine Optimization)= is the process of affecting the visibility of a website or a web page in a web search engine’s unpaid results—often referred to as “natural”, “organic”, or “earned” results.

These are the Activities of an SEO:

Key Word Search:

Keyword Research -is very important and can literally make or break your SEO campaign. The most popular mistake people make is to select one word or two-word keywords to rank on. The whole idea of keyword research is to select realistic keywords that can bring an insignificant amount of traffic. We use a paid version of WordTracker and Google Keyword Research tool and involve our clients in keyword selection.

Keywords Analysis:

A keyword analysis is a fundamental SEO strategy. It is a judgment to determine which keyword people will use to search the Web. Without this component of SEO, you will just be turning your wheels trying to gain grip in a highly competitive marketplace.

Competitor’s web site Analysis:

The aim of doing competitor’s web site analysis is to get information and ideas about how your competitors are performing, what is your site level and what strategies will be needed for your site to lead your competitor. Our process includes preparing several reports with important and covering information on competitor’s sites.

Pre-optimization report:

Pre optimization report is an initial ranking report of your website for the keywords that you want to be optimized. It is to compare the SEO rankings of a particular keyword after completion of the search engine optimization process.

Title Tag Optimization:

Title tags are the words that appear at the very top of your web browser, and they tell the search engine what the page is about. Optimizing Title tags is one of the steps to increase a website’s rank. When calculating your web page’s weight to a search, most search engines consider the content of the title tag and display that content in the search engine results page. So it needs to be constructed in such a way that it increases your website’s position in result pages, and encourage a surfer to click on your link.

Description Optimization:

The description should be written as a powerful statement. It includes important keywords that will be found within the content of the webpage. The description is also viewed in the search engine results pages and will be seen by the search engine user.

Keyword Optimization:

The key to ranking well in any search engine is optimizing the visible keywords on a page. Web site promotion has important relevance with keyword optimization. Some of the complicated words are being placed in the search box of the search engines wrongly. We take care of all possible keywords to find your web site in keyword tag including misspell or wrong spelling.

Website structure optimization:

For top placement of your web site in the search engine, it requires your web site to be search engine friendly. We create it accordingly by changing the navigational structure of the web site. The navigation structure’s importance in the optimization process is to guide the robot of the search engine about all pages and links and to list them in search engines.

Site Map for link optimization:

The sitemap is to show all links to your website from one page. We create a sitemap describing the link name with a concise description. This sitemap can be made on your server or different server.

Google Analytics:

It provides information about visitors to your site; pages and links visitors click on most and spend the most time on. Analytics also tells you that after using which sites users came to your site. You can find out the most popular keywords, user type, country details, and many other details.

Body text and content optimization:

A rich body text and key word oriented content is a secret of high search engine ranking. We optimize key words with existing content or change the same with your prior approval. To list your website at higher position it is important to have search engine friendly text and content.

H1-H2 tags optimization: (All Pages)

Header tags are given more weight than regular page content. The search engine considers it mostly when indexing a Web page. The header tag is important for visitors also because the heading tag tells both the search engines and visitors what the content is all about.

ALT Optimization:

An alternative tag is the HTML tag that tells the search engine what the images are all about. Since search engines can not read text fixed in images, so alt tag tells search engines what the images are all about. The alt tag is helpful for visually damaged persons to understand the objective of images.

Google Site Map – Development and Hosting:

A Sitemap is a list of the pages on your website. Creating and submitting a sitemap makes sure that Google knows about all the pages on your site, including URLs that may not be discoverable by Google’s normal crawling process. Sitemaps provide additional information that may not otherwise be discovered, such as pages that are not linked from any other page within your company.

Yahoo Site Map – Development and Hosting:

A Sitemap is an XML file that contains a listing of all URLs and pages on your website. The file is used to inform and direct Yahoo search engine crawlers so that web pages can be discovered and indexed quicker. Sitemaps provide additional information that may not otherwise be discovered, such as pages that are not linked from any other page within your company.

ROR site map and hosting:

ROR is a rapidly growing XML format for describing any object of your content in a generic fashion, so any search engine can better understand that content. It helps describe your sitemap as well as products, services, feeds, articles, reviews, archives, and many more objects. Also, ROR Sitemaps are automatically readable by all search engines, including Google.

Search Engine submission:

We manually submit your site to various local and international leading search engines and directories. This process is most reliable than software generated submission process.

General Directory Submission:

There are many important directories from where search engine takes data for example DMOZ. As a part of the search engine marketing process, we submit your web site to all leading directories which help in search engine positioning.

Product Specific Directory Submission:

There are many important product specific directories from where search engine takes data. Here a listing your web site becomes very essential. As a part of the search engine marketing process, we submit your web site to all leading product specific directories which help in expanding your products worldwide.

Country Specific Directory Submission:

Google Local Submission:

It is a local business center to create your listing. When customers search Maps for local information, they will find your business, your address, hours of operation, even photos of your storefront or products.

Content Writing:

Content plays a very important role as far as Search engine optimization is concerned. It is necessary to have search engine friendly content to attract visitors to your website. We are here to help you create effectively and search engine friendly content for your website.

Video Marketing:

PDF Submission:

Converting text files into PDF files. These Created PDF files can be optimized for higher search engine ranking by uploading files on PDF sharing websites.

Information graphics or infographics are graphic visual representations of information, data, or knowledge intended to present complex information quickly and clearly.

Website Progress Report: (Weekly / On Demand)

After submitting your website we constantly keep study whether it has been listed in the search engine or not.

Ten Truths You Should Accept In Life

  1. People come and go: I’ve always thought that close friends are forever. Well, in some sense, they are but not necessarily physically close in your life. Some might just migrate to another country one day because they found better living options there. Close at heart maybe.
  2. Time waits for no one: I really can’t deny this. I bet you had some flashbacks of your past and wondered what brought you to this moment in life. The ups and downs of life granted you the best gift you can ever receive – the memories.
  3. You are responsible for yourself: There are times in life that you can only rely on yourself because no one understands the situation better than you. It’s not that people don’t want to help, they just can’t relate and thus can’t help. You’re the only one who can help yourself.
  4. Never trust anyone 100%: I call this detachment from expectations. We are emotional creatures. We are hard-wired to move away from what hurts us. Given the suitable conditions at the right moment, there’s a slight chance that your loved ones will betray you, whether intentional or not.
  5. Love is a double-edged sword: Love is beautiful and also a choice. When you surrender to love, you also chose to surrender the most vulnerable part of yourselves to be with someone else. This is a risk that you chose and it’s also a risk worth taking.
  6. You’re constantly evolving: Life is a learning process for everyone. As you go through life, you are constantly learning new things that take you out of your comfort zone. You’ll learn, grow, and evolve throughout the process. You’ll never be the same person you are five years from now.
  7. Toxicity comes from personality: Ever met someone who’s just toxic? That’s their personality. You can never understand their behavior as to when they would exert their toxicity. Their toxicity comes from the pure ignorance of their actions towards others and their unwillingness to change.
  8. Boundaries are healthy: We have our own problems and boundaries are an act of self-care. Boundaries allow you to draw a line between your welfare and others. You should never tolerate whatever crosses your boundary. Ever.
  9. Relationships take real effort: No matter how busy you are, you have to find time to nurture and maintain your relationships. As mentioned in #6, you’ll outgrow some people in your life. When you spend lesser time together, you simply run out of things in common, and thus the relationship weakens and dissipates.
  10. You decide who your family is: Family is a group of people who feels like home to you. And that won’t necessarily be related in blood. You can have friends who you call family because they accept the flaws that you are ashamed to show to anyone else. And you can also have blood relatives that don’t even know who you are. Family is who makes you feel at home.

What is Something About Human Psychology That Almost Nobody Knows?

  • Your physical pain, as well as fear & stress, can be relieved by holding hands with someone you love.
  • People confess things during the late-night conversation because people are most honest when they’re physically tired.
  • By doing daily exercise, your risk of catching a cold or flu, and severe form of infection can be a drop.
  • Even the illusion of progress is very motivating.
  • People with low self-esteem are more likely too busy humiliating others.
  • Smart people mostly underestimate themselves, and ignorant people always consider themselves brilliant; which is also known as the dunning krueger effect.
  • Around 80% of human talk is complaining, in a group.

Ten Truths Everyone Should Accept in Life?

Excerpted from: https://www.quora.com/

  • If you think you just need intelligence to succeed, then this belief will make your life difficult because success only comes to those who also know how to digest failures, criticism, standing alone, painful time, lonely nights, long hours, keep working even when there is 1% chance of success, that is only achieved by one quality — Resilience.
  • Stop labeling yourself without even trying things. Because, the thing you consider impossible, will only become possible, once you try it.
  • Once you failed in maths — in grade 1, that doesn’t mean you’ll fail in maths again in engineering exam. So, stop doing Over-Generalization, it will destroy your life.
  • Stop operating from victim mentality — that’s the real problem because once you believe that your effort or hard work wouldn’t change your situation. Then, no one can help you.
  • You often get depressed, when your friends or family not giving you the same importance, that you’re used to. You need to understand one thing, they are not devaluing you. They just have something more interesting in their lives, that takes their attention.
  • Stop playing the blame games and start taking the responsibility of your all-action whether it’s right or wrong. Always own every part of your life, because every experience (good or bad), weakness, strength, challenge helps you to make the person you’re today.
  • You don’t get slim by eating fast food, the same way you don’t get strong by just watching martial art training on TV. Strength either mentally or physically only comes from practice or more importantly by consistent practice.
  • As you throw rotten tomatoes from your refrigerator, the same way you should throw your rotten beliefs from your mind. Either it’s a tomato or beliefs, it becomes useless once it’s rotten.
  • Stop bashing yourself for the mistakes that you never commit.
  • Stop calculating yourself worth on others’ calculators. Use your own calculator, you’ll have a happier and satisfying life.

Andrew Carnegie had a net worth of $310 Billion. He is the 4th richest human ever to live.

But at his first job, he was only earning $1.20/week. How does someone go from minimum-wage to making billions?

To find the perfect financial advice for you, I studied his life and realized some actions that led to his fortune.

Unfortunately, there is no one-trick I can attribute to Carnegie’s fortune. If you were looking for cop-out advice then this answer isn’t for you.

It’s a mixture of three-factors I will share with you.

  • #1 Carnegie started anywhere

He didn’t wait for the perfect industry or passion but started working.

At 13 — he worked in the boiler room of a textile factory. Later, he got a job at a telegraph office and made efforts to know important people. (networking)

At 17 — he became assistant to a railroad man and setting his foot into the rail-road business.

The story goes on but it’s enough to see the pattern.

He started working regardless of his skills, education or the economy which you blame are holding you back.

Times have gotten better since.

The opportunity to work in the marketplace are endless. You can work for free, get an internship or start online.

It takes humility to forego expectations of massive pay. To start working to explore and develop your skills.

  • #2 Better ways to solve problems

Making money is about solving problems.

There are endless problems in the marketplace. The more creatively you can solve then, the more money you will make.

Carnegie built a massive steel empire because he solved the problem of manufacturing steel. He adopted the new Bessemer Process which allowed to make steel in large quantities at low costs.

You make money when you find creative solutions to problems that already exist.

As a coach, I make money by solving problems of businesses, people’s performance. Think about the problems of businesses around you, can you better solve them?

  • #3 The power of investing

You build wealth by making money multiply itself.

Carnegie invested $217 into a sleeping car company that started paying him $5000/yr. He got hooked on investing. And understood the power of dividends.

Learn to Invest and grow money long-term. Start Saving.

Read about investing, buy books, courses. If you stay ignorant you will stay poor.
